Domo has been around Denver for many years and always offered country style Japanese dishes. More recently, their menu changed to offer more noodles. I tried it out recently, and found the new menu very good! I had the Toji dish--- kind of a domburi but with a the vegetable cooked with egg.Very traditional would have had a raw egg... More

The large almost warehouse-looking building houses a Japanese restaurant that doesn't disappoint the diners that find it. The decor is casual with large tables and tree stump stools in an open dining room without booths. The waiter provided a woven tray for my purse so it wouldn't get dirty on the floor-a nice and appreciated gesture. My friend and I... More

Getting into town I was I need of miso soup to make me feel better. This place has such beautiful servings and unique atmosphere. Homemade ramen with bold beautiful flavors. Not your run of the mill decor and neat dining tables a plus. I can't give enough plus review.

Domo is incomparable in Denver. The food is so original, authentic, and it's all served in an atmosphere that's almost unbelievable. Unless you don't care for things of this genre, you'll be taken air once4 and become a fan, as I have.

It's an oasis of tranquility and zen! It's worth seeing even if you want to just go and drink some quality tea and relax, but let me tell you the food is underpriced if you ask me, the quality is undoubtful and the history behind the idea of this restoration is inspirational! All proceeds go to charity. Please go there,... More

I had the Kara-Age Ramen dish. The broth is amazing, the chicken is little salty for my taste; overall, this noodle is the best Japanese noodle that I had in a long time. The price is very reasonable. The service is pretty good. The restaurant interior was funny with stone table. You can't seat long in the chair, because they... More

This is a very unusual Japanese Restaurant with a beautiful Japanese garden where you can dine in good weather, it has a long standing tradition & a part of the philosophy for a portion of all proceeds from Domo to be used to support people in need & is part of a humanitarian foundation. The food is Japanese country cuisine... More

Built inside a warehouse and next to a train track this restaurant is a surprise the minute you step inside. The restaurant is part dojo, part culinary school, part shrine, part museum, part japanese garden and 100% authentic. Don't go looking for sushi, because there is none on the menu. The restaurant prides itself on authentic Japanese cooking. Everything is... More

After browsing the menu online, I had high hopes for this restaurant - instead, I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life. If you want to eat at a restaurant where (1) the staff are downright rude, (2) they refuse to make even tiny menu changes to accommodate different tastes or eating restrictions, and (3) the food... We went to Domo before going to see Phantom. The food was great and the atmosphere was excellent. We ate outside in the Japanese garden and enjoyed the serenity there. It is hard to believe that we were sitting in the middle of Denver. We each ordered something different and enjoyed it all. The lunch portion size was more than... More
