Country Japanese -- something different than sushi

I always forget about this restaurant, and then when I remember it and go, I always have a nice time. It's much different than the other Japanese restaurants in town. We came here with the kids, and everyone found something they liked. It was a unique experience for them to share a table with... read more

The noodle bowls for lunch are enormous and delicious. Went with four friends and we all had leftovers to take home! Nice ambience.

The food is wonderful, traditional Japanese. In the summer, the outside gardens and dining area are a peaceful and beautiful place to dine. There's plenty to choose from on the menu. Don't expect luxury seating though. The dining area is rustic with stone slab tables.

Food, service, and most of all the atmosphere will keep me coming back. Ramen was to die for and the mini plates it came with were fun to experiment through. Definitely worth getting a spot on the patio if the weather is nice.

I always go to Domo to eat the best ramen. They have such a large menu and so many options. It helps to ask them for their recommendations because the menu can be a little intimidating. But everything there is absolutely delicious. It has such a cool atmosphere, especially in the summer when the back garden is open.

Went there for lunch over the holidays. The food was good (not excellent) and overpriced. The service and atmosphere were not pleasing. The wait was long and we ended up seated and eating in the waiting area where we shared a table with a couple of loud girls. We were near the front door and every time it opened there... More

Domo is unique and outstanding. The facility is authentic and fascinating: stone tables; tree trunk stools; genuine decor. For warm weather dining, there is a large outside oriental garden. The building also houses a demo for martial arts training. The menu is extensive and contains a variety of Japanese cuisines prepared and served in a classic style. The food was all... More

Very disappointed in the way we were treated. Upon entry we were told the bill would not be split (we had a group of 8), only certain payment options were allowed. Not a real big deal, but when we say to wait, there were several cards laying around starting their policy and expectations of children dining there. Still, we were... More

From the outside of Domo you would never guess what you would discover inside. Entering Domo is like entering another world of traditional Japanese culture. The food and teas are excellent and the service is great. In the summer, I imagine sitting in the garden outside would be equally wonderful.

Walked from downtown tonight and had a very nice meal. Reasonable price for a lot of food. Had hot noodles with all the sides, teriyaki bowl and tea for $20 bucks. Great staff and cool atmosphere.
