I found the restaurant I can proudly recommend as a true 5star. Congratulations, you combined excellent service and cuisine. Seldom these days do they match at the same establishment. All I can say is maintain this band of excellence.

My husband and I thought it would be fun to try another Frank Bonanno restaurant. We were sorely disappointed. My husband had the pheasant, which was actually not bad. I had the scallops (three) and the dish was a disaster. Don't get me started on...More

We visit Denver often. Many great restaurants. But I was happy to walk into a restaurant with an older and better dressed crowd. A touch of elegance. And a great menu and wine list to match. Lovely waitress. And helpful sommelier. Wonderful, dressy, expensive experience....More

Start with Cocktails, Manhattan and Old Fashion, superb. Never fail to get the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Don't recoil in horror, the Cheese is very light, silky smooth and thin with an entire lobster claw in the middle plus chunks of lobster around it. I...More

Fantastic little venue with a nice wine selection, excellent food and a quite/relaxing ambiance. We enjoyed a couple of the specials as well as the Mac-n-cheese with lobster (a nice appetizer) and a good glass of wine. The restaurant provided a good conversation atmosphere (we...More

I hadn't been in a while, but Mizuna never disappoints. We splurged and did the chef's sampler menu, which was worth it for a treat. They even included a special request for one of the courses. The service was top notch and never felt rushed....More

WE were here with a party of five. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Small but eclectic menu. Extensive wine list. Fine service. Don't pass this one up.

The dinner service was excellent, the wine selection extensive and the food above high expectations. Reservations are strongly suggested. Try the arctic char!

It is Denver, so casual dressy seemed in order. Some of us had jackets and ties, but not everyone there was dressed like that. Women certainly had nice dresses or pant suits. when I think of a dress code, I think of not... More

Opened in April 2001, Mizuna showcases Frank Bonanno’s dedication to fresh, simple ingredients and seamless service. The menu changes monthly and features dishes that range from local game to peekytoe crab. The fare is imaginative and artistic, but pure, clean flavors render even the most exotic fare familiar. Rated by Zagat’s as one of the top restaurants not just in Colorado, but in the nation, Mizuna is ultimately an American-style restaurant heavy on French technique, influence and philosophy.
