What a terrific find in downtown Denver. Had the Pork Potstickers, Lobster Saigon Crepes which you wrap in lettuce cups and add fresh herbs, Brussel Sprouts with pork and what they call "Dancing Scallops with a Sweet Corn Pancake." Each was outstanding as was the service - our plates and chopsticks were changed after each course. Very special.

This was a casual business dinner and the reservation was made for me. Waiter explained it was a small plate/sharing menu and said one of the options was to let the chef design the courses for us. My guests were adventuresome and we went for it. Great choice! Every course had a distinctive flavor that "popped" as one of the... More

Not a big fan of simple cuisine made complex, and that's what ChoLon does. They have some very good items, but most are grossly overpriced and hardly impressive. For Asian food of any style, you'd be better off visiting Federal Blvd in town and choosing a genuine restaurant where someone's mom is making food they actually know how to make... More

Denver is awash in restaurants, new, old, kitchy, trendy, you name it. After 3 visits to Cholon I am ready to name it the best in town for a special experience if price is not the object. It is rare to find a place that provides first class food and first class service without even a hint of pretention. The... More

A better lunch than dinner option -- they have some great dishes but also some total misses -- service is generally good but uneven -- kind of pricey -- a good option is the happy hour which has some tasty options and good drink specials

I know other reviews talk about the French onion soup dumplings and they are indeed fantastic but for me the pork belly buns were the stand out dish, one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. This is a really classy and top notch dining experience.

CholLon is one of those places. I suppose if you HATE asian food of all types, you might not like this place. But I bet you would. This is the 4th time I have eaten here. We first came on a recommendation from Biker Jim, (if you don't know about his hot dogs, the cart on the 16th st mall,... More

It was my second visit to ChoLon, some 2 years after my first, memorable meal there. It is still a very good restaurant, excellent service and well prepared food but it is clearly missing something that was making it more special. Very original menu, of strong Asian inspiration but as the time goes by, the preparation is a bit less... More

This restaurant is fun. The food and drinks are very good. The differences from the usual Chinese is great. Service is top notch. Every one takes time to explain or assist. They know their food and menu. Everything on the menu is good. Just order and enjoy. The Onion Soup Dumpling are excellent. The Lobster crepes, Duck and Wagyu are... More

Our family of 5 visited ChoLon this past week for dinner. Jeremy was our server and provided us with wonderful recommendations and a great dining experience. The food was delicious and unique in its preparation. It was enjoyed by us all. Would highly recommend.
