Visited Wednesday and had a great Strip Loin Steak. Delicious!! Went back Friday night. Toss up between this and local Italian restaurant. Went for Woodie Fisher because of how Wednesday’s steak was so delicious. Got to the counter, had to go with the special $45...Appetizer, Entree, dessert option in order to eat in dining room and not to have to sit at bar. Steak was still tasty, but 2 oz smaller and full of gristle. Lost 1/4 of steak to this. Ordered Tiramisu as the dessert. Lady fingers were so hard they went flying when cut. Basically hard lady fingers with whipped cream spread on top with a few sprinkles of chocolate. A total dessert disaster. The waitress took $5 off the total Bill even tho we both sent our back. Sadly this is our last night in Denver so won’t get a chance to visit the Italian restaurant. No doubt it has to be better than our Friday night experience at Woodie Fisher!More

We visited this restaurant yesterday for early supper. We made reservation, arrived on time to be standing at the entrance no-one to great us. There was more employees than customers at the time we arrived. Few employees walked by , 3 employees at the bar...were having to much fun ... no-one bothered to come see us. Finally one waitress came to see us wondering how she can help us - Finally We were seated. We ordered Buffalo chicken sandwich and burger - burger was very tasty but chicken sandwich was full of sauce leaking all over so the only option was to eat it with utensils. If you read our other reviews you will see that we are very reasonable and usually satisfied with our choice of restaurant. This time it was a disappointment. Service we received from our waiter was amazing, restaurant look and design was amazing.More

We found this restaurant in a Tripadvisor search, and as a bonus, it was connected to our hotel. The food and beverage menu was good and our dinner choices were delicious, but the highlight for us was the history of the building, the use of...found artifacts in the decor and the very gracious sharing of the building's story by the General Manager. Sitting by a window provided great people-watching. We highly recommend this dining experience!More

Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. We ordered the Alaskan King Crab Benedict and Brunch Fried Rice. Both were wonderful. The crab butter hollandaise was the best we ever had. The chili vinegar in the fried rice was tasty

Almost everything was done to perfection. The salad with panchetta was on the fatty side, but the other salads were excellent - Nicoise, beet, and sunchoke were terrific blends of flavors. The cod and deconstructed chicken pot pie main dishes were excellent. The steak was...ordinary and the accompanying mushrooms a bit chewy. For dessert, the brownie was very good and the bread pudding superb. Service friendly if a bit slow. Prices a bit high. Atmosphere interesting though a little noisy.More

Forced to pay for a set menu, then found that they didn't actually have a lot of the menu options. The one dessert choice we were stuck with tasted like a yoga mat. And not a good one either. Plus they offered a chicken pie...that was just chicken with no actual pie. What a scam. Go literally anywhere else.More

We are staying at the Hilton Garden Hotel( great place by the way) and decided to try out the hotel Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar. It is the oldest remaining structure in the Union Station neighborhood. This historic Hose House #1 was one of the...first volunteer firehouse houses in Denver. Completely remodeled. Had indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to eat inside at an 5:00 pm due to the very warm temperatures. There were people at the lively bar having drinks when we arrived. A couple of tables had people having drinks, then ordering dinner. By 7:00 many outdoor & indoor tables were filled. My husband had the wedges salad and the pork chop dinner & both were delicious delicious ( I tasted the pork chop-yum). I ordered the roasted peppers as an appetizer, the sirloin steak & a side of roasted Brussels sprouts-yum again. We had an excellent server-thank you! I highly recommend this restaurant.More

We ate it Woodie Fisher’s one night this week as it is next to our hotel. The food and service were so good we went back two nights later. I’m not exaggerating when I say that every single thing we tried was most delicious! Over...two different nights we ate: Brussels Sprouts, Burger, Burrata, Wedge Salad, Margherita pizza and Blistered Shishito peppers. It is not common to have every item to be excellent, even at wonderful restaurants. Woodie Fisher’s delivered that which is why we ate there twice in one week and will go back again during our next visit to Denver. The service was as good as the food—outstanding! Attentive without hovering. Both waiters could explain the food and how it was made and they did so with a smile on their face! There is clearly something special about Woodie Fisher’s—thanks!More

We arrived around 8:00, waited for a few minutes for the hostess and were not greeted by our waitress until 8:15ish. We then placed our orders and the food did not arrive until 8:55ish. The waitress apologized once early on for the wait but then...failed to check back in or offer anything for the longer than anticipated wait. The food itself was tasty, but the portion sizes were a little on the small side after a long wait. The restaurant itself was beautiful, and convenient for those staying at the Hilton Garden, but the wait staff was unprepared and the experience lacked overall for the price point.More

Hit this place before the ballgame and enjoyed the food, ambiance, and price. Interesting location in an old fire station building, now attached to the Hilton Garden next top it. Enter from the hotel lobby.
