This was so good we ate here twice! Great atmosphere, friendly service. We had reservations, so we sat quickly. Service was slow both times, so don’t be in a rush. Meals for vegetarians or not! Great cocktails selection.More

Horrible experience ! I call and make a reservation and ask if I can bring a bottle of wine to dinner because their restaurant didn’t offer any wine that I liked and lady said “sure, no problem at all”. My reservation was set for 8:45pm...on a Saturday evening and I arrived on time, got seated and placed my bottle on the table. All of a sudden I have a manager at my table telling me they can’t open my wine because it’s against the law ? I told him calmy and nicely that I had called and asked and was told it was okay because they didn’t offer any wine I would drink. He apologizes and tells me too bad, there is nothing he can do. I offer to buy a bottle of his to trade for mine and he again refuses. I then told him that this is horrible because they have ruined my evening and it’s a bit late to try and dine elsewhere and he says, “it’s not my fault” I explain that it is his fault because it can’t be mine and that I will now give them a Bad 1 star review and he starts to get really upset with me. I again explain that I called and was told okay and now I’m being forced to leave which is a huge inconvenience, that they caused! He keeps ranting on about untrained employees and how can I leave a bad review for that?? I finally told him to man up and take responsibility for his crew and act like a real manager but he just kept going on and on until I eventually lost patience and looked him in his eyes and told him to just go F himself already, since he didn’t know how to be a real manager and just take the weak review… All he had to do from the start is admit that it was their fault and say that he was sorry for my inconvenience and accept the fact that they deserved a bad review and I probably wouldn’t have even bothered to leave one, but he chose to keep it going and going and that is what has motivated me to leave this 1 start review.More

This was our first meal in Denver after disembarking at Union Station and stumbling across it. Very helpful server and nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was a little different than we were used to, but we liked it. I had a beef and bison chili...and my wife had a pork BBQ sandwich. The latter was not very much like you’d find in the Southeastern US, but was a nice change of pace.More

Our date night dinner here was outstanding. The steak tasting, sautéed mushrooms and butter pecan old fashioned were among our favorites - and every dish we had was great. This restaurant is set within the historic Oxford Hotel, with one wall open to the outside...on this warm fall evening. The mood is upscale but completely comfortable. Several ingredients are grown or harvested on site. Urban Farmer is a new favorite we’ll definitely return to.More

We had mid-afternoon meal on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2! That’s how much we loved it. Great staff, fresh, tasty food! Recommend the cheese plate and any of the cocktails.

Not a good experience. Things seemed all well at first but then waited over an hour for our food to come out. My husbands lamb was all cold, my scallops were warm but the rest of the dish was not and my sons Mushroom dish...cold as well. We did not get the 2 sides ordered and it was not offered to bring them to the table at this point either. I also could tell people at other tables were irritated with the situation as well. Would never dine at this restaurant again.More

This is, by far, our worst ever dining experience. We ordered a Butcher's Cut, the Tomahawk. It was essentially inedible -- dry, chewy, many bits that were tough to swallow. We sent it back, and ended up ordering a regular ribeye (which was a 100...times better). You don't expect this poor quality when you order a $165 piece of meat. The manager "graciously" took $50 off our total check -- so we paid $115 for an inedible steak.More

Two of us went for dinner. Service was acceptable but not fantastic. Had to constantly ask for more drinks. The larger issue was the food. Mostly everything we ordered was not hot enough. The steak did not have the right color of being cooked in...a high temperature and was lukewarm. The ambience and decor was very nice. Don't plan on going back. Prefer Elways in terms of food.More

Two of us had the scallops. We both experienced stomach pain and visited the bathroom several times. The guys had steak and were fine.

Food was not great, service was awful. The front desk crew were very helpful. The Cruise Room waitress was great, as an aside. We travel through here annually, but we will never be back here. When you pay 54.00 for a steak a la carte,...I expect Ruth Chris or Capital Grille. This is not even close.More
