This is one of my FAVORITE Denver restaurants. They food is always excellent, and the prices are great (especially lunch). The storefront is small and unassuming, but the inside is simple and pretty. It's a sit-down restaurant with servers, but you can also order food to-go. I think this restaurant is a bit underrated because it looks small and simple, but don't be fooled - the food is EXCELLENT! My favorite dishes are the beef shwarma or the lamb kabobs, but I've never had anything I didn't like. Would highly recommend.

My partner and I went to Phoenician Kabob tonight and had a wonderful dinner. We started with the grape leaves which were hot and wonderful. I ordered a Greek salad with lamb schwarma which was huge, wonderful and filling. My partner had the rack of lamb which was exquisitely prepared and came with a healthy portion of grilled veggies and rice. With drinks and dessert, it was a sonnet night. We love this place!!!

We had takeout from this wonderful mid eastern restaurant. we shared some Sabanekh and baba ghannouuj. Each of us had a main. Meat combos of various kebabs, greek salad with beef slices, hummus with beef slices and the absolutely wonderful fresh pita to scoop up the dips.

We have gone here for years and always enjoyed the fare. No more. Recently we dined and were not able to eat much of our entrees due to poor preparation. The salmon was overcooked and the vegetables with it were old and soggy. The shawarma was cooked long ago and merely warmed up. Most disappointing was the now doughy and heavy pita bread--this used to be a highlight, but like most of the food we could not finish it. It seems like new owners, but we were in no mood to chat.

To say the owner and staff are the absolute best is an understatement, And the food was delicious. With recently being diagnosed with a kidney disease, dining out can be a struggle. While visiting family in Colorado (not to mention the owner has never meant me) He went completely out of his way to cook a delicious meal for me personally and made sure I enjoyed it. Cannot say how touched I was by this. The staff and food were phenomenal and will defiantly return on my next trip!

A fun stop on the way home from the slopes with the family. The Kibbe was fantastic, 2 kinds of hummus with the appetizer, great kebabs, and ok gyros. Kid friendly and clean bathrooms! Definitely not perfect, but was pretty good.

Incredible food. We got the 3meat skewer combo and every bite was amazing. It was a great way to taste a little bit of everything. All of the food was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. Some of the best hummus I have ever had!

Had a nice dinner at Phoenician Kabob. Tow of us has the Sultan Combo, a large portion of Grilled gyros, chicken shawarma, falafel, hummus, baba ghanouj, tabbouleh, and stuffed grape leaves. Served with Basmati Rice, Dipping Sauce and two Fresh Pita Bread. One of us had the lamb kabob and I tasted a piece of the lamb it was tender and not over cooked. Prices are very reasonable this place is worth a try.

We visited as a group and I was looking forward to try their food as I was told it’s really good. So I think I went there with high expectations. We tried few dishes: the hummus was amazing and the kibbeh was out of this world. The kebab was a 7/10, good but not really extraordinary. The grape leaves were made in house (that’s good), they tasted good but they were dry and tough. The falafel was a disappointment. But my major disappointment was the kenafeh.. it was cold, microwaved and soggy.. it should not be served. When it came time to pay for the food of 4 people and appetizers we paid close to $200. So for the quality of the food, it was very overpriced. The staff were really nice and friendly and we had no complaint regarding the service.

I was looking for an adventurous late lunch and Middle Eastern was on my mind. This little gem was simply fantastic. I ordered the Sultan’s platter so I could taste everything. Wow! Creamy hummus, smokey baba ganoush, falafel, chicken shawarma, sliced gyro, tabbouleh, and dolman. Each item was beautifully plated and arrived with two fresh warm pita’s. Please seek this place out and go hungry.

I was surprised to see wild salmon in the menu. It was well prepared, as were the vegetables. Falafel was moist. You can taste the garlic in the sauces, which is nice! Service is ok. Missed the Friday night Belly dancing. I’ll be back to try the kabobs.

I went because of the reviews on TripAdvisor I got there about half an hour after they quit serving lunch, so had to go wth the dinner menu. I ordered the gyro plate at $16. It came with about 2/3s of the platter filled with plain white rice topped with a bit of parsley, a small cup of sauce and the meat. The meat was very tender and flavorful. No garnish on the plate, not a tomato, red onion or cucumber in site. That is when the charges started piling up. However, the server never mentioned that at all. So I got charged 5 dollars for cucumbers, white onion and tomatoes. Then $2 for pitas and another dollar for more sauce. All with the server never disclosing the charges to me when I requested the items. Maybe my first clue should have been that I was the only person in the restaurant I ordered the baklava to go. It was okay but their takeout containers are cardboard so the honey just got absorbed by the cardboard Overall, the good part was the gyros, flavorful, tender, and top notch Unfortunately, the other pieces of my experience overshadow the great meat. I will not be back.
