We wanted some good homemade Mexican food. This quaint restaurant is attached to a Carneceria, which is great and convenient!
We stopped in for breakfast. I am gluten soy and dairy free and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable of what goes into their food. Everything is homemade. The corn tortillas were made fresh that morning!!! My husband's menudo was flavorful. We've been here a year and this was the first menudo we enjoyed and didn't have to add anything and the tripe was clean and no grease.
I basically had carne asada and Mexican style eggs (not on the menu). The beans were full of flavor! The salsas were tasty and some had intense heat but you couldn't stop eating it.
Everything is made from scratch.

This tiny restaurant in a small hispanic market was fantastic! Food was freshly prepared and well priced; the staff were so delightful and friendly. This is NOT Mexican food, but authentic Salvadoran. Lots of choices and everything we had was delicious!

I have been trying to get into this place for two weeks, every time I tried, the place w as packed. I finally got in and the food was great, had street tacos, the menu is big for a small place but, what got me was the selection of taco meats, all the classics you would expect, but with other things you can't find everywhere. The tongue and pork cheek, was great, trust me of you can get over your fear of not wanting to try something new, you're in for a treat.
