We did not want to eat in a casino and this restaurant is one of the very few alternatives. I'm glad we found it because we had a very good meal there. We ate in the bar area which has the same menu options as the restaurant and has a very friendly barman and a nice atmosphere. Our drinks were... More

Wish I could rate it less than 1 star and help save others the disappointment. First they couldn't seat us because we had a table of 5 people and another table of 4 people. The excuse they used was that they only had 1 cook and couldn't cook that much food at once. What??? It's Friday night and a restaurant.... More

Good Italian food in an interesting historic atmosphere. My partner ordered Chicken Marsala which he devoured. My Linguine with Marinara Sauce (with added mushrooms) was tasty, and the mushrooms were fresh and plentiful. My only issue was that there was too much marinara sauce for the amount of linguine--- usually it's the other way around! The service was excellent. We... More

After a trip down into the gold mine on June 19th, 2016, we struck it rich at the Midland Depot on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Our waitress was attentive and brought us great salads, mine with Thousand Island dressing, and delicious warm bread, and a large serving of Chicken Parmegiana. The Spumoni hit the sweet spot and we headed over... More

Kind of hard to find a great restaurant in Cripple Creek as the towns main draw is gambling not eating. We thought we would give the Midland Depot at the Imperial Hotel in downtown Cripple Creek a try because we had a discount coupon. The dining room was tastefully decorated and away from the drone of the casinos. The menu... More

Absolutely wonderful food, atmosphere, service and prices! We ate on a slower night, so everything was quick but not rushed. The food was authentic, very fresh and filling. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience, not to mention that drinks, an entree and dessert was affordable. EAT HERE!

Our family recently stayed in Cripple Creek for vacation. Most of the time we were off sightseeing in other little towns but we did eat several times in Cripple Creek. We were undecided on where to eat dinner one night and were unsure of this place based on the mixed reviews. Great choice we made coming here for dinner. We... More

College students from around the world help at the restaurant. The food is awesome and the wine and beverage selection are outstanding.

Good food at reasonable prices. Caution, the portions are large. The entrees are Italian. We especially liked the vegetarian lasagna.
