Set in an old house, this is a very good Italian restaurant. It was pretty busy the night we went (Sat. night) and luckily we had reservations. The Elk Scallopine was out of this world (get it medium rare) and the wine list is quite impressive.

Chef Dave along with Scoobie, Lawson and Paul made my night with my cousin one to remember. They were warm and ever attentive to us. The seafood calamari was light and perfect as was the sauce to dip it. We really loved the snapper!!! We sat at the table over looking the chef's cook station and saw all the wonderful... More

Every year we make sure we get to Marchitelli's for a great Italian meal. Two of us got the Eggplant Parm, while the third got chicken parm (which comes with a slice of eggplant on it) and were not disappointed. The staff is friendly, efficient, and extremely busy! But any delay is well worth the wait. Be sure to make... More

This is a top quality restaurant. Every component of our meals was excellent. Veal & eggplant Parmesan, prepared to perfection. Excellent scallops in a wine sauce with spinach. Friendly and efficient service. Don't even attempt to go here without a reservation.

We went for Italian, which was delicious; unfortunately I ordered a halibut special and that was a mistake! What was I thinking: halibut in Crested Butte?! My bad! Otherwise, all was terrific, the service was top drawer, the marinara sauce was the real deal, ambiance AOK. I made a poor choice, if you avoid making it, you'll have a great... More

Very disorganized in general, little attempt at hiding any confusion from customers, lots of avoidance of eye contact so as to not have to answer questions, especially when it comes to seating/reservations/describing specials/entrées/etc. Food, very good to great. Would probably avoid in the future unless it's not busy. If it is busy however, the food won't make up for the... More

Mussels in a light, citrusy sauce. Elk scaloppine was good - slightly stringy (it's elk!) but a very tasty Marsala sauce! Meatballs with traditional red sauce was very good. Service relaxed but adequate.

We ate at the bar and really enjoyed conversation with the bartender. The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing! We will definitely be back.

So after a LONG day of hiking and biking we were all starving and wanted something good. We first got there about 3:30 or so, and the lady up front told us they were closed. Our hearts were broken. We made a reservation and came back about 20 minutes early thinking we could just get a cocktail while we waited.... More

My wife and I had dinner at Marchitelli's two nights ago. It was our 6th visit over the past several years. Prior to last evening our experience has always been exceptional in every respect: THE ATMOSPHERE, THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD. However, two nights ago the dinner exceeded all expectations, The Caesars salad, Lasagna. and Veal Marsala were fabulous...The best... More
