Tully's a fine experience

Stopped by Tully's for dinner while in CB South. Great pulled pork sandwiches and salad. Service was fine. Wonderful outdoor patio.

Lovely setting, pizza not so good.

We ordered carryout pizzas, the bartender was pleasant and helpful as we waited for our order. Unfortunately, the pizza was not very good. The outdoor seating looks out to a beautiful mountain backdrop. I would give them another chance, but order something different.

Great pizza and nice patio

Laidback welcoming place for pizza and good times on the patio. They warned us that food may be slow to come out but this turned out not to be true at all, we got our pizzas in about 15 minutes.

Terrible service!

We went to Tully’s the Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. There was only one server and he was SO slow. My friend asked about 3 different kinds of cocktails and he would have to go ask the bartender about each one. The bartender could not make a single one. My friend had a salad, which was fine. My husband had pizza. It wasn’t great but not horrible. I, on the other hand, had ribs. They had to be the worst ribs I’ve ever had. There was some horrible sauce dumped on them. You couldn’t even eat them. I asked them to bring me another order without the sauce and was told that was the only way they make them. I think they just used the sauce to cover the fact the ribs were WAY overdone. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

Great pizza! While waiting had a 1/2 order of pulled pork nachos. Very generous with the order, and very good. Highly recommend. The bartender was friendly with a great smile!

c'mon now; act like you've done this before

A big part of the menu is barbecue, but unfortunately that's not a priority for the kitchen. While I was hoping for some brisket and my friend wanted their pulled pork, they were out of both. We settled for burgers, and later found they were out of the dessert we wanted. It wasn't a busy night (a Tuesday), so their inability to stock the food that people come for was a mystery to us. Our server was friendly and competent, and the place had an acceptable vibe, but I can't imagine what might make me go back when there are so many other dining choices in Crested Butte.

Open, airy, and love leaving full and happy

To start, great layout at Tully's, located in Crested Butte South. The bar has two tiers, with a pool table and area upstairs, and then a wide open dining area on the main floor - which leads outside to an EXPANSIVE patio area complete with corn-hole and (though it was covered up) ping-pong. The inside of this joint - because of a high ceiling and the second floor - creates a truly open-air feeling, while not shifting to feeling like a barn. It has kind of a rustic coziness (though I bet it can be loud when crowded), and, on a nice, sunny day, the outdoor area is just a spectacular place to enjoy a drink. Regarding the food...had been prepared for some kind of standard bar fare, and this is definitely a grade (or two) above that. We ate here twice in a week (we were staying within biking distance in Crested Butte South), and our meals were either very good or outstanding both times. Surprising mix of options, and everything was super fresh, hot, tasty and filling. Our service was consistent both times as well, though, unfortunately, it was because it was a balance of unhurried and mostly distracted. Both servers were friendly enough, but seemed more engaged in conversations with bar and kitchen staff than with taking care of us. No worries, though, as a significant beer and drink list helped cover over any deficiencies. Tully's is way too easy and excellent if you're close by in Crested Butte South, but also would make for a worthwhile to and from Gunnison or just as a way to get out of the downtown frenzy of Crested Butte. Maybe you could go wrong here, but we sure didn't find a way.

In CB South, Tully's get's the job done. Great pub fare with a fun and very local vibe. Great place to watch a game or hang with friends.

Brand new restaurant in Crested Butte South

Sports bar / live music / fresh food / friendly staff / huge deck - Tully opened a brand new place and it's amazing. Smoked meats, pizza, etc - all great food beer etc.

Good Food,Great View

A very welcoming atmosphere. Very family friendly. They are expanding their BBQ offerings and all are great. Good burgers and surprisingly good salads. Draft beers are nice and cold. They seem to turn over their staff frequently but all have been friendly.

Great pizza, sandwiches & burgers

Had a family dinner here on vacation. It is a bit noisy but very inviting and personable. I tried the Philly cheese steak and had some of my son's pizza and both were outstanding. Very reasonable price for a party of 6 adults and nice beer selection. No complaints great mid-range option in CB area.

Ok for Crested Butte South

This is an ok place if you are staying in CB South and do not want to go into CB or Almont. Burgers and BBQ are ok and onion rings are good. Place is a little too noisy.

Good place for CB South

Have eaten here a few times during Winter and Summer Seasons. I stay in CB south at my friends house and, I feel it is a good place for the area. I have had salads, sandwiches, beer and whiskey here in this place. The service is prompt and knowledgable. During the summer, the patio is open and has a few outdoor games available. The food is a nice option, they have pizza slices available during the day as well. I am glad they are in CB south.

Caprese sandwich please

Rode my bike after day of working on the house and work. Ordered caprese sandwich with fries. Best one I had since opening. Tasty fresh tomatoes and Basil. Fries cooked and salted to perfection. Chuck and dawn played accoustic andsound inside was on target.

Great food, Great Hangout

With lots of seating, plenty of TVs and a great outdoor area, Tully's is a wonderful hangout. The atmosphere is fun, staff are friendly and service is good. The food is also very good with quite a few different options, even a vegetarian will find something they like. Better than average bar food! In the summer they open up their big doors to outdoor seating and also bring in live music. Great place to watch football or other sports too. Very casual.
