This is our second time eating here and now I know why I didn’t like it the first time. We had to bus our own table and when we had to order from the bar, the bartender was really rude to my husband and our...friend. Our pizzas came out and ew. I got the margarita deluxe and it was soggy as hell in the middle and it just made the pizza not enjoyable to eat. No one wants to eat soggy pizza that costs $17. We for sure won’t be back.More
Six of us visited on Monday after a fairly long hike and grabbed a table outside. Ordered drinks & pizza by the slice and just enjoyed the vibes. Waitress was very friendly and took good care of us, We went back for lunch Tuesday after...a shorter hike and ate inside. Ordered drinks & two hand-tossed pizzas (one with Canadian bacon and pineapple and the other with sausage, onions, and mushrooms) and enjoyed every bite. Same waitress again was very friendly and took good care of us.More
I grabbed a couple of pizzas to go to take home and have for dinner later. They reheated wonderfully - crispy crust and fresh toppings. The outdoor seating is extensive and has a great, energetic atmosphere. There are plenty of umbrellas for protection from the...sudden summer rainstorms that can pop up out of nowhere, or the bright sun that is sure to follow in a few minutes. I would recommend killing a few hours on the patio day or night, eating or drinking - it's a great place.More
The Brick Oven Pizzeria and Pub was very consistent - they were poor in all aspects of our meal. It was overpriced, poorly prepared, took forever to get and the service was poor. I ordered the Guacamole Burger ($15.49). I readily admit that I'm picky...when it comes to burgers and I always ask the wait staff if they are sure that it can be prepared the way I like it. Our server Kayla assured us that it would be prepared medium rare. When it finally arrived 45 minutes later the burger was well done and dry as dirt. I think they tried to hide the fact that it was overcooked by loading extra guacamole on it. I normally would have liked extra guac, but in this case it had a sour flavor that I have never tasted in guacamole (no - it wasn't lemon or lime). The burger was also supposed to have bacon on it - but they apparently forgot to add it. My wife offered her Pesto chicken sandwich ($13.49) to me, but after one bite of my burger she changed her mind. That was okay with me because the chicken was just as dried out as the burger. I ate my onion rings ($3.50 upcharge) and waited for Kayla to return but she was talking with the bartender and customers at the bar and not checking on her tables. After watching her for ten minutes I got up and headed toward the bar to speak with her, but as I approached she turned and went inside the restaurant (we were on the outdoor patio). I followed, but she had apparently gone into the kitchen. I returned to my table and we didn't see Kayla again until she brought our bill (40 minutes after our food had been delivered). By this point I didn't even want the meal remade, but I still told her that the meals had been inedible. Her only response was "that's very unusual.) Maybe it was unusual, but I'm never going back to find out.More
We ordered from the Brick Oven website on Christmas Day. Received an email confirmation then drove to pick it up and the restaurant was closed. It is three days later and I still haven't received a refund. Tried to call the restaurant just now and...no one would help me. Won't be back.More
