Sherpa Cafe is a wonderful Family Restaurant and is a gift from Nepal to Crested Buttians and visitors. Pemba Sherpa and his family offer the best international taste of Nepal right off Elk Avenue at 3rd. Pemba is one of the Sherpas who have climbed to the top of Mt Everest - and more than one time. The Sherpa Cafe... More

As a group of 5, we each ordered something different and ended up sharing because it was all so good! Very reasonably priced, for Crested Butte.

Just stopped in for an appetizer and wine. Nice little place, friendly staff. Had the flatbread. Will try for dinner next time in Crested Butte.

Sherpa adds a new flavor to the CB scene, and that's no small accomplishment. If you're in the area, try it, you'll like it.

Had plain paneer with naan. I did take out and this dish was very tasty and filling. I ate left overs for breakfast

Stumbled upon this gem of a little place. Fantastic Dahl soup, saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. Spoke with the owner who was super friendly, sounds like he just took over in June. Highly recommend, their food was made with a lot of love!

We have traveled extensively in Asia (including Nepal) and found the food at the Sherpa Cafe incredibly delicious. I had the vegetable korma, my husband had the vegetable curry, and our son had the chicken momo (dumplings). We had a side of naan with dates, which was probably the best naan I've ever had. The mango lassi was also great.... More

We eat Indian food pretty regularly and try different places when we travel. The food here was as good as any we've tried. The garlic naan was best we've ever eaten- flaky, great crust, soft in middle, butter and garlic, and tiny bit of spring onion made it perfect. Was not as heavy as some make it, sometimes it's a... The Chai is incredible. Very deep and full flavored. My husband had the lamb curry very spicy. It was impeccable! I had the chicken makhani, and loved it. We would definitely return. We were torn if we should have sushi, go to the Ginger cafe, or here. We feel we made the right choice!
