Finished dinner and they didn't even start take home pizza. Asked about specials when I ordered dinner, was told specials are lunch only. Next couple next to my table ordered and were offered dinner special as my slice was delivered. Will never go there again.
I ate at Carellis this week and the food was good but not great. I had the chicken Marsala and the sauce was ok but could be more flavorful I thought. Prices were good and the service was good. I wish I had ordered the...pizza as I have in the past as they are very good. The beer selection could use a couple of Italian ones. The wine list could use some help.More
Found this little place on TA and couldn’t be happier with my choice tonight for dinner and a cocktail. Had the lamb chop special and it was amazing. The bartender, Macy, makes the best dirty martini. Highly recommend this little Italian treasure in Craig Co.
Normally great food and customer service!! I have to be honest though.... The young lady who took my order was not very friendly on the phone. First impression in my head was.. “Do I really want to continue this order?” I’m hungry though & I...love Carelli’s so I overlooked the unprofessionalism. It seemed like I was a complete inconvenience when I asked a few questions regarding our entrees. Our bread was hard. Not something I will do for a while for the price I paid and the customer service that I received. Customer service is high on my expectation list- and my experience here was not welcoming and inviting like my previous experiences. When I came to pick up my food, the woman literally dropped my bread on the ground and preceded to place it in my bag. I’m glad it was half way wrapped up. Normally, I would call and get the issue resolved, but we just got home from a long drive and didn’t plan on going back out.
I normally send my out-of-towners to this establishment frequently for a good meal.. and I’ve never had one person come back with a complaint.
The lady who took my order was my first point of contact. Not impressed. Seems like management needs to implement new training videos/skills/etc.More
We really enjoyed our week-night dinner in the rear dining room. Service was personable and prompt. My cocktail and wine were both very nice. Lasagna was tasty and generous, and they were able to customize a "naked" chicken parm for my gluten-free wife. I especially...liked the sausage in the lasagna, which we were told was brought in special from a Chicago provider. Prices are a bit on the high side for this small town, but the quality of the experience is worth it. Note that you can go for a more casual "bar and pizza" theme in the front room if you want.More

I was not welcome with a Vietnam Veteran ball cap. They took my money without incident, but the entire crew refused then to make the large pizza I paid for when I arrived. Just left quietly without saying anything.
