Beautiful building and views, breakfast was good and their coffee was delicious. We had drinks at the lounge and the bartender was very good
We had Buffett for the whole family, deserts was good with Hot chocolate, salads, fish and veggies. Service was excellent
This is easily one of the better steaks I have ever had. My family dined here for a birthday occasion. All entrees were prepared with excellence. Everything from the setting of the restaurant to the food preparation was done with class. I really cannot say...enough good things about it. I had the Wagyu Steak and it was superb.More
We had both breakfast and dinner at this upscale on site restaurant. For breakfast we shared oatmeal and an omelette--both were excellent. Plenty of food and well prepared. We had dinner with another couple who live in CC Springs. My wife and I shared Wagu...beef which was quite good. The baked potato and veggies were very good. The atmosphere was elegant and romantic. Our wait staff member had an amazing memory for all the offerings. Kari was very professional and attentive. An evening to remember.More
Well, anniversary meal. We picked The Steakhouse at Flying Horse. Convenient to where we live, nice atmosphere and beautiful views normally. (It snowed when we were there, it's only MAY:). First, cocktails were excellent, appetizer was good. Recommend the French soup for a great starter...as well, excellent! We ate the blacken tuna and Oscar fillet medallions, both very, very well prepared to our liking. Dessert was great for the closer. Five star review, why do you ask? All sounded great but not overly superb. The waiter, Nick, was beyond excellent. Personally, if I was manager there, I'd give that guy a RAISE! Super attentive, well mannered, and there at every moment we needed him. He was really excellent! I hope we'll return soonest and hope we have Nick as our waiter. Brings hope to the server industry as far as way beyond excellent service!More
We were staying at the Flying Horse Lodge and decide to eat here our last evening. Very pretty atmosphere inside the restaurant. Menu was a bit limited. Not sure if it's like that normally or if this was due to Covid. We both had filet...mignon cooked to our liking. The sides are sharable. Prices are a bit high, but we expected it at a place and area like this. Service was very good too. Would highly recommend for a special evening out.More
We met friends for a New Years Eve celebration. OUr group was in the Rotunda with panoramic nighttime views of the golfcourse and Colorado Front Range. The service was great. OUr servers were very attentive. Everyone was pleased with their entrees adn desserts.

Just had a new menu item here for lunch, fresh fried fish street tacos served with a roasted jalapeno and the best slaw & sauce ever! These delectable bites of fresh filets were battered and cooked perfectly crisp and served on handmade fresh tortillas perfectly...paired with fresh slaw, served three to an order...Home run! And what's better then some fresh brewed iced tea for a "Southern Gal" to wash it all down! And the view aren't bad either.More

My party of five ate here last night. Our server was truly excellent; attentive without hovering. However, with the exception of the wonderful potatoes au gratin, the food was good, not great, and not worth the prices paid. Apps and salads were fairly run-of-the-mill. The...mussels tasted very fresh but the ciabatta, soaked in the bland coconut lemongrass broth, was kind of strange and not appetizing. Butter and garlic, yes. But with this broth I can pass on the bread. The poke stack was very good with a great spiciness but a little short on lettuce leaves for wrapping. My guests seemed to enjoy their steaks though one guest found the sauce ala Oscar not to his liking. I elected for the Hunstman game combo but found my elk medallions minuscule and a bit tough and the duck breast very tough to chew to the point that over half was left on the plate. The venison sausage was very good. The wine list was broad and well thought out and prices were in line with fine dining. I just wish I could use the "fine" adjective when describing this restaurant. It is by no means bad. It is just disappointing.More
Fantastic! The lemon drop drinks are best I’ve had. Sourdough bread and crab cakes are great arearegreaCrime

Beautiful setting for a restaurant and well appointed decor. The bar service could have been warmer and a bit more attentive. It was not a busy night! We tried the special scallops and tuna tartare to start with and were not disappointed. For mains, we...tried the porterhouse and the bone-in rib eye, both excellent quality and perfectly cooked. Accompanied with Fess Parker 'The Big Easy' red which was a great pairing. The other issue, which I only realised on my return, was that we ordered two bottles of the red wine and was charged on a per glass basis, strange!More

A little pricey but great atmosphere and quality food. Bartenders make a great drink too. Steaks are the main dish and cooks did mine perfectly.

I had breakfasts and lunches here during a conference and the food was very good. I met a friend for dinner here after the conference was over and I thought the food was just okay for the money. The service was very good. The sourdough...bread they bring to the table is great. I ordered a small fillet and I thought it was slightly overcooked. The side dishes are separate and shareable. I ordered the white cheese scalloped potatoes. There was a large bowl of them but they were okay. Just okay - nothing great.More
We have eaten here many times and the food is absolutely amazing, great for those special occassions. High end on price, but everything is worth it! If you want to catch the experience on a little bit of a lesser budget, check out their happy...hour appetizers, truly spectacular. Recently came with friends for happy hour birthday wine and appetizers and everything was perfect to incredible staff, excellent choices for wines, drinks and appetizers, ambiance is spectacular (really, take a walk around the place), and happy hour prices were incredible for the high quality and great tasting food and proportions. Definitely recommend!More
