Sixteen great years of eating at Shuga's and still going strong. The Brazilian shrimp soup is fab, but that's just the start. Specialty drinks keep the party going. Please bring back combos with half sandwiches!

Shuga's is a house converted into a boutique style healthy food restaurant. At Shuga's "healthy" does not mean bland or boring. It means everything is made from organic and fresh ingredients. I had the Cobb Salad and was able to have a sugar free dressing....More

I went here with a local resident thirty something who says it is one of his favorites. I could see why immediately. It is quirky to look at and has an eclectic, interesting and healthy menu. We sat outside. The shrimp soup won raves from...More

We visited this restaurant based on all of the positive reviews and definitely were not disappointed. I had a hot roast beef while my wife had the quiche with a side of mac & cheese. We were both thrilled with our selections. Super friendly staff...More

Four Art Deco cats greet you from on high as you enter this eclectic, aromatic place. The people there were happy and having a good time on a Friday afternoon. I was here on a friend's recommendation and I didn't have any expectations, but WOW!!...More

There are a few items that are consistently good. Menu changes very little. Love a ginger hot tea they have. Service usually good.

Although there isn't a lot of indoor seating, on a nice day there is ample seating outdoors. The chairs and tables are eclectic outside. The service was a bit slow at first, but improved as the night wore on. There is an extensive drink menu...More

Went there after going up Pikes Peak. Service was great, the food was outstanding. It was by far the best lunch we had on our vacation.

I believe they do have gluten free. I know that Coquettes gluten free bakery will be moving in a block away from Shugas.

There is outdoor seating, but it's more of a funky than swanky vibe. Yes, you can see the mountains.

Description
Established in 2001. Shuga's was created by Alexius Weston as a place to hang out with great food and really inventive cocktails. She had just come from the Northwest area of the country and wanted to create a cool space where she felt comfortable. Initially focusing on Vivace espresso as a delicious mainstay, the place soon morphed into serving amazing paninis, salads, and the out-of-this-world Brazilian Coconut Shrimp Soup. The infusion of Lavender Martinis and cocktails created with care helped launch Shuga's into the forefront of the local Colorado Springs food scene.
