First off, this place is next to a Chuckie Cheese, and who doesn't love their pizza but we said no, lets be adults and sick with the plan. This place is small but the service is fantastic. Stopped in for lunch. So yummy and such big portions. I don't know why the bad reviews but if its anything like our local Leadville Chinese place, you only go for lunch?

Good sized portions! Everyone loved the wonton soup. Service was good. They served our party of 7 very quickly.

We ordered pot stickers (fried dumplings) that were terrific to start our meal. We really didn't need to because the portions of the entrees (plus egg roll and crab wonton, plus your choice of soup) was way more than enough food. But I'm really glad we did order them because there were by far the best part of the meal. The mu shu wasn't great, nor was the seafood dish ordered by my husband. Soups were just alright; same with the egg roll and crab wonton. It's a family-owned little place. No one else was there dining when we arrived at 5:45 p.m. on a week night, and only a few others came in during the time we were there. Some people came for take-out. The little boy who was helping his parents out was funny because he pretended to be all offended that we didn't eat all of our food and needed take-out boxes.

Don't even waste your money here. The food was terrible. We had to throw away food. The noodles in the chicken lomein was super thin. Never known them to be that thin. The soup had a smell of cow dookey. For real. I couldn't believe it. I am so disappointed. Will stick to PF Changs from now on. Yall need to take this food back over the seas for sure.

The operators of Overseas 101 strive (and succeed) to provide a warm atmosphere, and wonderful cuisine. The appetizers, especially the steamed dumplings and egg rolls, are done to perfection. The main dishes, such as combination lo mein, beef with broccoli, and twice cooked pork may be typical menu items in a number of Chinese Restaurants, but Overseas 101 has perfected them. It’s a small, cozy space (tucked into a strip mall) that can get loud when full, but the vibe when it’s full is fun. Treat yourself to a fun and delicious dinner experience, and check out Overseas 101.

Our takeout was amazing. All of our food was delicious. The lemon chicken was beautifully presented with the sauce on the side; Hunan pork was full of flavor and made with fresh pork not that roasted kind with the red rind; Kung Pao chicken, hot and sour soup and the egg rolls were all great. Do not miss the wonton soup! It is not the generic kind you usually get. It is an intensely flavorful broth laced with julienne carrots, celery, bean sprouts and delicate wontons. The restaurant is in a strip mall and is very small but that did detract from the quality of the food and service.

Used to eat here all the time until new ownership. Now the food is terrible. Rude owner, poor service. The food and service were comically bad. I've never written a review for a restaurant before now, but felt compelled to do so having never had such a crappy meal

This place is a hole in the wall, seriously. But the food here is so so good. Not to mention the service and the people are friendly and make you feel welcome. I'd definitely recommend coming here for lunch!

We went to Overseas 101 (strange name) to celebrate my son's birthday. We had been here before and had enjoyed the experience. We enjoyed tonight also. Overseas 101 is a small (only 8 or nine booths) restaurant in a corner of a strip shopping mall. We enjoyed the quaint atmosphere. The service was fine. Not stellar but fine. There were several servers who each at one time or another came by to see how we were doing. Tonight was very quiet. If they had been busier, the service may have not been as good. But for tonight, it was fine. We enjoyed the food. We shared Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork. The Mongolian Beef was savory with crisp vegetables. The Chicken and Pork were very crisp with a lightly sweet sauce. The dinners came with egg rolls, wonton, soup and rice. It's nice to have the 'extras' come with the meals and not have to order them separately. The soups were tasty. The eggrolls and wonton were average. We enjoyed our dinner and will be back again when we have a hankering for Chinese food.

It's a while since we had eaten at the Overseas 101 mainly because it doesn't open on Mondays and we always seem to be in town on Mondays. Anyway, we had cause to be in the Springs today and decided to give our old favorite another try. First up, I noticed a few things gone from the restaurant - photos of the owner and his family, a big Buddha and some plant stands. The waitress was new to us too. When we had a chance to speak with her she confirmed that the old owner had sold the business and the new owners had been there for around six months. She assured us that the new owner has kept the old menu and the old owner had taught the new people all the recipes. Well...... I had egg drop soup - standard, no difference. Hubby had hot and sour soup. Nothing like the old soup at all, it actually tasted like (and looked like) egg drop soup with chili or hot sauce in it. He wasn't happy. Both of us had the Sesame Tofu. Servings were smaller, and that's okay because it really was too much in the past. Very few sesame seeds involved, you could almost count them and the sauce was different and not much of it. It was passable but nothing to rave about. I see that the new owners have been receiving favorable reviews and that is great. It's just not the same standard that we were used to so it looks like we'll be on the lookout for our new fave Chinese restaurant in the Springs. We do wish the new owners success.

Not sure why it is reviewed so high as my experience was not very good. Fried rice was greasy and tasteless with no added veg or meats, lo mein was spaghetti not lo mein noodles, heavy breading on chicken, other dish had chewy chicken, not very pleasant experience.

My daughter and I decided to give this place a try because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed! I don't know how someone said the food was bland? Total opposite! And, I'm a good cook! Not upscale or high quality but, it's not expensive. Small place that could use updating but, a lot of places could! The beef and broccoli very tasty good beef broccoli not over cooked and not too much sauce like some other places. I don't like a lot of sauce! Moo goo gai pan very nice but, don't like celery and, I felt like it should have had more cabbage otherwise the dish was very good! The lunch was only under 10 bucks each and came with soup of your choice, some sort of rangoons (which I never liked) so I didn't try, very good egg rolls and they top it off with a fortune cookie and an almond cookie. Give this place a try!!! I'm going back to try the fried rice combo entree!

I went in cold - I didn't know if they had what I wanted because I didn't have a menu at home. Mama was sick, and knew what she wanted. So, I went into the restaurant, asked if they had this, that, these, and those. The owner (?) was very accommodating, and the young lady serving the tables was very nice. The "owner" said that he'd put together whatever I wanted. While I was waiting, the waitress offered me water. My inexpensive food came out well packaged for the trip home, and well within the 15 minutes that the "owner" guesstimated. I got home, and we found the food to be delicious and plentiful - enough for two evening meals for us. The only thing is that one of the two soups was the wrong soup - that didn't make it any less tasty though. AND, even though I entered "Cheap Eats" below, don't let that fool you. The food was WAY better than cheap eats.
