This may be the most innovative restaurant on the Broadmoor property, if not in all of Colorado Springs. Food is fresh, well prepared and sophisticated. We enjoyed the Philips Salad, angry trout, veal cheeks and a profiterole for dessert. I was served a flat Jura...More

Very cool atmosphere - coming from an architect. Different rooms with different feel, wine rack centered behind bar is rotating behind curtainwall glass. Didn't go into the main dining room, but the areas around the bar had a cool feel, one room felt like a...More

Fantastic service and wonderful food. We were here for a business meeting and therefore had a limited menu, however I don’t think we noticed because it was all delicious. Loved that the restrooms are all individual.

Interesting food combinations. My roasted cauliflower salad was very tasty with unusual food choices and a dressing while my husband's Ceaser was not a surprise. We followed with a hanger steak and grouper. Both were very good but the size was not generous. Service was...More

We had a delicious meal at Summit. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and the wines and they were accommodating to my food allergies.

The Summit is chic, modern, beautiful and outside the massive Broadmoor main buildings, but still part of the complex. The decor is new and upscale - a definite departure from the rest of The Broadmoor restaurants. Service and food at Summit meet expectations for a...More

We really enjoyed our meal here. Service was very good and the menu was creative and the dishes were all very good. But this place isn't cheap and when you pay $40 for a "rack of lamb" you expect more than two lamb chops. I've...More

This restaurant has a strange take on French cuisine. It is definitely more American than French. How can you claim to be french without serving Bouillabaisse or le'roucheite coued'ue? None of the waiters spoke french or pronounced any of the dishes correctly. The male waiter...More

This was our last night on a spectacular 4 day luxury, family time together and a most fitting one at that. The food was incredible and the choices made it really difficult to decide -- though three of us ended up with a rack of...More

The Summit was the only place to eat that was decent at the Broadmoor before. Now after changing Chefs and changing the menu, 3 out of 4 of us hated the food. It was bland and blah and I would rather eat at the pool...More

A French Bistro, Summit marries French tradition with American originality. Summit's stellar menu of year-round favorites includes House Made Charcuterie, Potato Crusted Swordfish, Wagyu Beef Burger, Moules Mariniere and Hanger Steak. The ever-evolving seasonal selections find strength in a vibrant network of top-shelf vendors that provide the kitchen with the highest quality ingredients and local produce available. An extensive bar highlights local microbrews, cocktails and wines from the finest regions of the world, adding to Summit's unique assortment. Designed by acclaimed architect Adam D. Tihany, Summit's contemporary design is inspired by the grandeur of Pike's Peak and provides a stunning counterpoint to the classic elegance of The Broadmoor. Wood, metal, glass, leather and fabrics are used throughout the dining room to evoke a modern, yet natural feel suited perfectly to Summit's American brasserie menu and eclectic wine and cocktail program. Summit has been named one of America's 10 Best Hotel Restaurants by Frommer's and was previously honored in the Robb Report "Best of the Best", and Esquire's "Best New Restaurants" and "Best New Restaurant Design.
