Summit is a nice, though casual, restaurant at the Broadmoor. The food was very good, though not great. The wine list was decent, and the cocktails were good. Service was fine.

On our way to Las Vegas, we spent three days at the Broadmoor. I reserved a table for Saturday night, our last night, to celebrate my wife's upcoming birthday. We concurred that the decor lived up to its billing. Tasteful appointments of wood and art added warmth and classic tradition in keeping with the Broadmoor's mystique. The atmosphere was quiet... We didn't make reservations ahead of time, so we went early and sat and ate dinner at the bar. It was a great experience and really enjoyed the food. Neither of us were overly impressed with the appetizers (mine was the steak tartare- a bit too many things added, seemed like it was trying to hard; my husband had the... More
Loved our meal at the Summit. On the pricey side but the quality of the food and waitstaff was excellent. Would definitely eat there again.
My husband and I chose to come to The Summit during our 24 hour getaway at the Broadmoor because of all the wonderful reviews and the delicious sounding seasonal menu. Unfortunately, the food and service were unworthy of the reviews I read. From our first impression with a confused hostess to our server, the service that we received was worthy... More
Out of all the restaurants at the broadmoor we selected summit based on the menu options. The decor is modern and our server did an excellent job. The master sommelier was slightly difficult to talk with, but in the end I appreciated the recommendations. The Caesar was fantastic, and my partner found their meal astounding, yet I found the Demi... More
Met up with friends here for dinner. We had an amazing time with great food and wine. I ordered the lamb shank which was like butter in my mouth. They also have a great wine selection. Great for a date night, dinner with friends or business meeting.
Yes, you can get your fresh local trout angry, with head still on. Or happy, with head removed. Either way, it is all cooked to perfection and served with elegant flair. It was easy to see why this is a go-to option for a business meal. We took the time to walk across the street to stroll through the Old... More
At the Broadmoor for Romantic getaway weekend. First dinner at Summit. Oysters were uneven. Some good and fresh. A few seemed a little out of date. Caesar salad was good. Liked the hanger steak, although the wine sauce was a little bland. Wife liked the park pockets. Great wines. Apple Mille feuille was terrific. Crunchy and fresh.
As the name implies, it is up high (10th floor?) and the panoramic views are thrilling to say the least. The food is prepared with loving care and served by a wait staff that will make a believer out of anyone that says waiters/wait staff cannot be professional. An amazing meal in an amazing restaurant. On top of that they... More
