The food was delicious, the prices were excellent for the portions, and everything was made quick. I know the location doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside was clean. The menu is in Spanish, so if you don't speak it, be prepared...to either ask questions or use Google to translate. I know a few other reviewers said the food wasn't authentic, but I would love to know what those people consider "authentic Mexican" if this isn't it. This place serves Mexican-style gorditas (nothing like what you get from a certain fast food place), huarache (a masa and bean flatbread), cow tongue and cow stomach tacos, cueritos tacos (pickled pork rinds) and many, many other items that I have basically never seen on a menu before. I don't know how much more authentic they can get. Anyway, I ordered a few different menu items and ate way too much because everything was delicious.More

I am new to Colorado Springs and just moved from south Texas after living there for almost 2 decades so I am quite familiar with tex mex cooking. This was exactly what I was hoping for, real mexican food just like I was craving. The...menu board has pictures and the items names are in spanish. No worries if you don't speak Spanish though as the staff are bilingual. I ordered carne asada tacos and carnitas tacos to go. I had them hold the cilantro. This was really good and the meats were meaty and not grisly or fatty at all. The flavor was great on these, (especially the asada) and exactly what I was expecting. These were street taco sized with 2 corn tortillas for each taco as usual. I asked for extra red hot sauce and they were happy to accommodate me with no extra charge. They also had caldo, chiliquiles, gorditas, tamales, hamburgers, hot dogs, tortas, flautas (taquitos or rolled tacos, whatever you call them in your part of the country) and even chicken nuggets. They do serve breakfast too! This is in an older run down looking strip mall, but it's easy to get to and parking is plentiful and free. The food was good so don't judge it by it's location. The place was full when I stopped in and several more diners came in behind me to order. I didn't get a chance to try out their rice or refried beans, but the tacos were great! So far this is the best taco place I've tried in the short time I've been here. I will definitely be returning. I would not make a trip across town to eat here, but if I were in the neighborhood, it's worth a stop in for.More

This is authentic Mexican food! The tacos are a bit pricey at $2 each but we’ll worth it!!! The aguas frescas are also worth mentioning because they are truthfully fresh and taste delicious! The burritos are also a good size and good taste! We go...here every time we’re in the Springs area!More

Stopped for lunch as we were getting some car repair work done close by. We opted for hamburgers and chicken nuggets instead of the traditional Mexican fare and we weren’t disappointed. Prices are very reasonable and the staff was very friendly. We’ll try the Mexican...selections next time!More

I ordered the borrega (lamb) taco and chicharron taco. Both were very good. Chicharron was in a lime tomatillo salsa. The salsa bar had a good variety of salsas, some very spicy. The staff were friendly. Lots of people dined while I was there. It...seemed like a popular spot for comida Mexicana autentica. Extensive menu with a variety of regional dishes. I will definitely return.More

I had the Cubano and it was one of the best tortas I have ever eaten. This is not a fast food restaurant but the wait was worth the result. I will go back and try the other dishes because they all looked good.

First it was hard to order as I was tired so not in the mood to translate. Of the 30 items listed 5 were in English and 8-10 more were easy to guess from the pictures. So we were limited in our choices, as I...did not want to order the one which translated to beef stomach. The place did not look clean and the food was bland and did not taste like "it is prepared at the moment ordered". Just a hole in the wall eatery with sub standard tasting food. Will not eat here again.More

I have been searching for a legitimate "street" taco place in Southern Colorado for years, particularly in Colorado Springs. I'm talking about the kind of place that serves more than shredded beef and chicken. Not a place where the most exotic thing on a taco...is carnitas. I'm talking Lengua (tongue) Tripa (tripe) and Buche (pork stomach). I found all of the above and more at Naco's Tacos, a small place in a strip mall on Academy just south of Platte. I ate more than I should have because I wanted to try some of everything. I died and went to heaven; the meat was cooked to perfection; tender and moist and everything a great street taco should be. The portions were huge, no skimping on the meat here. There is lots more on the menu, including tamer stuff for the cowards among you. A salsa bar allows you to fix em up like you want to. After wolfing the tacos down, I polished off my strawberry soda and patted my stomach with satisfaction.More

The food was beyond bland. Beans had a weird a taste and rice tasted like it came from a box. Posole was watered down and had no flavor. Major disappointment.

We visited Nacos Tacos yesterday while in Colorado Springs. This is probably the best Mexican food I've had in Colorado. My wife had the enchiladas, which are served with a green chile based sauce. They were full of flavor, on the spicy side, but not...overly so. I had the chilaquiles. There are many ways to make chilaquiles - Nacos chilaquiles are served with thinly sliced beef, using a green chile sauce, fresh onions, and two eggs over easy on top. Delicious! Down at the bottom of what looks like their handwritten specials menu is "tamales". I ordered one, to see what it was like. The tamale was large with meat and red chili sauce from top to bottom, and the masa was fluffy, not dense. I liked their tamales so much, I ordered two dozen to go, which my family will get to enjoy for Christmas dinner. Thank you, Nacos, for some great food!More

Placing my order here was a challenge because of the level of authenticity this place offers. Food was fantastic and the clientele eclectically genuine. Place is close to home.
