A nice place to eat. Good food and a nice comfortable atmosphere. Think fried chicken, steak, chicken fried items, mashed potatoes, etc. Stick to your ribs food. Desserts, think cobblers, pies, etc. Good stuff. Service was friendly and quick. Fried chicken is done to order, so they will need about 15 min extra time. Found the prices to be very... More

Mason Jar is one of my favorite places to eat in Colorado Springs . The best fried chicken West of the Mississippi. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommend Mason Jar for the whole family.

Yes, the Mason Jar has become a favorite. Why? Friendly service, down-to-earth food, reasonable prices and open 11 am TO 11 pm. It seems that my visitors always leave smiling after a meal here. The CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN IS THE BEST and the CHICKEN FRIED STEAK ranks with it. Our family of 9 really sampled the menu offerings and not... More

Saw this place had good reviews so gave it a try on my vacation. Cool western/log cabin decor. Cozy inside with plenty of seating. The menu has a nice selection. Very generous amount of food for decent prices. I got the sirloin for $11.99. Got biscuits & cornbread with it along with 2 sides. I got the broccoli cheddar soup... More

We had passed by this restaurant a couple of times; looked it up on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. It was a quaint place, you could tell the locals ate here. My daughter had a steak that was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. My son and I had the chicken fried steak. It was ok. It was... More

We didn't get to stay very long here since we were on our way to the Pike's Peak Cog Railway but it's a cute little restaurant, decorated in a log cabin theme. We were with a tour guide who seemed to know the staff and they were very accommodating when he explained that we were in a hurry. I had... More

Food seemed pretty good, though my ordered got a bit messed up, but was corrected at the time the bill was presented and they were out of another special as a big bus load of people had come in. Nice place interesting decor and helpful staff.

Chicken pot pie was large, very hot, and made from scratch. Meatloaf was another lunch special. Half size offered on most menu meats. Homemade bisquits and cormbread comes with meals. Plus honey Chicken fried steak was straight from a freezer pre-breaded. Gravy was very good. Since the mashed potatoes were fresh and homemade I would have thought the meat would... More

At waitress's recommendation had the trout - grilled. It was very good. For sides had dinner salad (nice and fresh and generous) and green beans (delicious). Before the meal they give homemade biscuits and cornbread with REAL butter (a sign of a quality restaurant!). The biscuits were especially good with the local honey that was served!
