The atmosphere is exactly what I remember when I lived in Germany. The service is great but we didn't like having a time limit on our visit, not very German. There is a great selection of beers and the food is really close to authentic.

If you love authentic German food you need to visit Edelweiss while in CO Springs, We went for lunch and it was very busy. Take the time to make a reservation to ensure you will get a chance to enjoy this wonderful dining experience. The...weekend brunch menu provides a number of German delights and the dessert menu is not to be missed. Great spot.More

German food is what they do well. Having Germans in the family, it was close. Service was great with suggestions. The food was hot & timely. Two young children were in our group but the kids were well behaved so no distraction to others. They...also have a wide variety of deserts.More

Our family of four, with 2 adult sons, had a lot of fun and enjoyed our meals here. We don'r know much about German food, our sons have taken a few years of German in high school, but what we had was great. We had...the Jaeger, Rouladen, Sauerbraten and the Flammkuchen Mediterranean (vegetarian). We also had deserts: Black Forest, German Chocolate, Mocha Mousse and the Rum Torte. I had a draft beer that had grapefruit juice in it. The waiter and wait staff were really friendly and efficient. We ordered an appetizer, but the waiter forgot to bing it. That turned out fine because we we had room for desert. We hope to return.More

I ordered a dish I never heard of. It was like torn/slices of pancakes that tasted like rum raised bread. Excellent. Fresh whipped cream. Brother got jagerschnitzel which was excellent. Perfect crust and mushroom gravy was delicious. Plenty of great beers to choose from. Loved...the semi covered patio. Nice weekend brunch place.More

The food is really good and I've eaten there before alone, and then they're was an ice storm, so it was easy to just walk in. But don't try that under normal circumstances! You really should make reservations! When's your reserve online, they inform you...approximately how long you should take to eat your meal, which is ok by me because the place is really jumping. But the server kept coming over repeatedly asking if everything was ok! I'm not exaggerating, he came over like 8 times, one time I was in the middle of putting food into my mouth! I found that very off putting! Let me at least get a chance to chew!More

We had a early dinner reservation. Our waitress recommended the rahmschnitzel. We both ordered it. If you like mushrooms and cream sauces, this is delicious. The salad plate has a variety on it. We both like the potato salad. The meal was nicely paced and...the shift switch of waiters went smoothly. The bonus was a chocolate desert because it was our anniversary. Truly delicious and we look forward to our next visit.More

The food was excellent, it was a real pleasure to eat lunch there. The “baked Brie en croute” was fantastic as well as the crab meat sandwich (specially the potatoes in salade that went with it). Large choice of beers. It was quick and cheap!

For context, I lived in Austria for 4 years and Germany for 3. I was excited about this restaurant and the menu looked great with all the well known dishes. The ambiance was authentic with a nice outdoor Biergarten. Unfortunately it was a disappointment from...there - the food wasn’t really hot, the beer wasn’t cold, the breading on the schnitzel was soggy, the vegetables were clearly frozen, and the service was slow. I won’t be back.More

We just wanted dinner, but ended up with an authentic German meal - felt like we were in old Heidelberg. German food is my husband's favorite so when we saw an ad for The Edelweiss Restaurant, we had to try it. What a great find!...The menu was extensive with numerous choices, but we just couldn't resist the schnitzel, which came with a creamy mushroom sauce and spaetzle. My husband ordered his "a la holstein" - with a fried egg on top. The portions were plentiful and delicious. Of course, we took full advantage of the vast beer menu of German beers on draft and bottled. The perfect accompaniment to our meal. There was a gentleman in lederhosen playing the accordion, and our friendly server, Tina, helped make our evening very special. Due to the fact that we ate everything they served to us, we, sadly, could not partake of the beautiful desserts they offered. Will leave room next time! If you love German food, this is a Must-Visit slice of old-world Germany!More

Hey Edelweiss you can do better. The bread was stale. The pretzel was good but the cheese sauce was cold. Sauerbraten iffy at best. It shouldn't taste like vinegar. Balance the acid out with ginger snaps. The upcharge for veal is a joke since the...meat was tasteless. A real bomb of a dinner. Try someplace else.More

As someone who has spent a lot of time living in Germany I was amazed by the authenticity of the cuisine and place. The schnitzel, spatezle, potato salad, bratwurst, strudel were all exceptional. I can't imagine anything on the menu not being deliciuos. The ambience...and the German decorations all add to the quality of the experience. This place deserves top billing; a legit 5-star.More

I've reviewed this place once before for brunch, and it was delicious, so I decided to go back and try some other menu items. I ordered the pretzel for an appetizer and the cashew crusted chicken as an entrée. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked....I ordered a beer which was great too. I probably ate too much, but it was just too good not to. Staff was very friendly and the portions are prices were fair for lunch.More

We can always make something from scratch that would satisfy all those requirements. When you come in take a look at the menu and talk with the server and she can coordinate with the Chef. Thank you!
