My husband and I enjoyed our dinner at Edelweiss alot. They had a nice selection of beer and wine and we enjoyed our entrees that we chose. The desert we shared was also amazing. Both of us loved the ambiance of the restaurant too.

We dined at Edelweiss on Monday, June 18, 2018 with a large group. The service was superb, especially for such a large group. I had the remoulade which was gritty and tough. The red cabbage side, however, was excellent. Salad was excessively oily. My wife...More

If you're in Colorado Springs and looking for a cultural experience as much as a meal, Edelweiss might be right up your alley. From German decor and mugs of beer to authentic schnitzel and brotchen, Edelweiss is a fun place to do something different.

Both authentic food and atmosphere. You'll love the brotchen. Our dinner was one of the most satisfying I've had and quite a while.

Busy busy place, but plenty of room, so we didn’t have to wait for a table. Cute decor and congenial atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing and authentic. They had an accordionist when we were there, and everyone seemed to really enjoy her, clapping and...More

The only thing missing with this restaurant is it not being in Germany. Everything is authentic. The food, the beer, the accordion. In bit of an odd spot but well worth the visit. Very reasonably priced. It is busy. Reservations recommended.

We can always make something from scratch that would satisfy all those requirements. When you come in take a look at the menu and talk with the server and she can coordinate with the Chef. Thank you!

Description
For over 40 years this family-owned German Restaurant on the south side of Colorado Springs has served over a million happy customers. The restaurant invites guests to dine in one of its several rooms decorated with artifacts from Europe. With strolling musicians on Friday and Saturday nights, three blazing fireplaces in winter, and an authentic "Biergarten" in summer, you are sure to enter into another world as a guest at Edelweiss. The authentic menu with a variety of Old World German dishes includes Schnitzel, Bratwurst, and Sauerbraten, with newer-age items such as Flammekuchen and Maultaschen. For those not so adventurous palates Edelweiss offers other Continental fare such as Chicken Cordon Bleu, Filet Tournedos, or Fresh Salmon Filet. Imported German Beers and Wines can be ordered to compliment any of the flavorful dishes. The European-trained Swiss Pastry Chef bakes all of the desserts from scratch, so save room for one of the rich Tortes or pastries, or take some to go.
