On a whim, decided to give Amanda's Fonda a try based on recommendations from friends. The variety of options was greater than most restaurants of its type. The service and taste was good, but not our first choice in Colorado Springs for great Mexican food.

Me and my wife were on vacation last week and had dinner here. We both had the seafood enchilada dinner with a Margarita. It was so good we went back the next day for lunch and both had the stuffed shrimp and another Margarita. We are from Texas and thought we had some of the best Mexican food in the... More

After ordering - on a weekday lunch - it took over 20 minutes to get our food. We were seated on the patio---the only ones out there -- and had to walk back to the bar to pay our bill.

If you are in Manitou Springs and have the taste for Mexican this place should do. It is decent food and very good size portions. The service and atmosphere are very good. No complaints at all. Its just not 'Great'.

Had lunch there one day but wasn't that impressed with the food. I got taquitos and they were okay, but not great. I prefer Salsa Brava for sit down Mexican food.

Arrived around 3:30 for a margarita and some nachos. Not really well staffed and they were out of queso?? We were often needing a refill on drinks but no one around to help. The food was good but the service could have been more attentive.

I'm from Texas so finding good Mexican food in another state is a big deal! I loved their Camarones Jalisco! Delicious!

Great food. Great margaritas. Cute server, Donovan. Would recommend the pitcher of margs during happy hour.

After a tiring day of visiting Cave of the winds and the summit at Pikes Peak a margarita sounded good. So, we headed to Amanda's Fonda for a Mexican dinner. We ordered food and a pitcher of margaritas and were impressed by both. Our server, Mike, was very attentive and the overall experience was very good.

Covered patio seating with a lovely creek view makes this place a perfect stop to relax and refuel. Drinks were good, food was quite tasty, and service approached excellent. We were there in late afternoon, so there wasn't any crowd. It does look like it would be jumping during dinner, but equipped to handle it! We enjoyed our lazy afternoon... More
