Would not have pegged this for Mexican food just driving by, luckily I use TripAdvisor to find restaurants. :-) Our family had breakfast/lunch here on a Saturday. It was wonderful! My husband wanted to come back again (and we were only there on a few...day trip). Portions were good. Service was friendly. We'll be back next time in CO.More

Amazing service and food and drinks. Salsa and chips were great. The atmosphere was great, clean, the salsa and chips were so good the food service was fast and we had a special drink order and they took care of it

We visited Rudy's Little Hideaway for breakfast on a visit to the Colorado Springs area. The staff graciously allowed us to bring our well-behaved dog onto the patio, a huge plus for a hot summer morning. While a little slower with reduced staff due to...the Covid-19 issue, we felt that the speed of service was fine, and our server was friendly and helpful. The food was EXCELLENT. As Minnesota residents, we rarely have opportunities for exceptional Mexican takes on dishes, and we devoured our meals with gusto. There was a Chorizo Stack and a Machaca Burrito, both of which were shared and large enough for us to not need another meal until dinner! We will return!More

Huevos Rancheros was very good, green chili sauce excellent! Waited on a seat for 7 on the patio, should have made reservations but had no idea. Everyone seemed pleased with their orders as well. Would definitely consider returning when in the the Springs again.

We were suprised upon arrival due to difficulty in accessing hillside parking. Entry cleanliness was below normal standards. Floor dirty and need for some repaint. Service was episodic. Menu was provided after 5 min wait. Then came chips and minutes later sulsa. Still no napkins...or sulverware. Asked for large margarita light on ice but got little margarita and mostly ice. Service was slow and not friendly. Food was average. We will not be returning.More

We have been coming here every Saturday morning for breakfast for years. My boyfriend has been coming here for more than two decades. This place is so great. Wonderful waiters and waitresses, a really nice owner, beautiful artwork, interesting murals, a rough-hewn little place with...a true Mexican flavor. No pretensions. Very reasonably priced. The Mexican breakfast is so amazing, but if you want an American breakfast, that’ll be just as good as at any diner in this country. Outstanding!More

Although the menu seems overwhelming at first, this is one of the most personable and friendly staff that guide you through all of the options. Not to mention some of the best BBQ I have had. Very family friendly and spacious. They go out of...their way to make sure you have a good experience. Highly recommend.More

I eat at Rudy's frequently. They serve Mexican and American food. Lots of variety, senior and children's menus. Always complementary, homemade chips and salsa. Patio seating when warm enough, and a full bar, separate from eating area. Nice views. Be careful, the driveway and sidewalk...are steep. 4 handicap spots with wheelchair access. They speak English and Spanish, your choice. Nice clean venue.More

They do have gluten free food here. Green chili being one of the items! Just be cautious as some of their corn tortilla options are cooked in the same oil as their rellenos which has flour.

We picked this restaurant based on the TA reviews--wow, talk about off the mark. There is no way this is the #1 Mexican restaurant in CS! The facility is very dated; the food was almost tasteless; and the margarita and wine left lots to desire.
