This is a family restaurant that has a home cooked meal style menu. Service was fast and food was good however the wait person couldn't quite get our order correct or get the billing correct. Maybe this person was new on the job.

We had great service, the food was fresh and tasted great. Price was reasonable, compared to surrounding eateries.

We had not seen a Black-Eyed Pea restaurant in years, so this one was a welcome sight after a long, tiring day. The food was excellent and the service good.

Positives - Diverse menu with good selection of vegetables. Good price on Lunch menu -$5.99 to $7.99. Average quality on food. Restaurant appeared clean; lots of seating (but limited seating in bar area). Negatives - On the day we visited, the only person smiling was the hostess at the front door (long hair, glasses, very friendly, she said hello to... More

Yes, I know this is a chain restaurant, but we haven't seen one since we moved to the Southwest from the Deep South. Lots of good comfort food like Chicken-Fried Steak and lots of nice people to take care of you.. Gotta love it.

Me & my husband were seated immediately but then waited about 15 min with no waitress. A woman came over & said our waitress would be with us soon but she would get our drinks. Got the drinks shortly & then waited about another 10 min before our waitress Ellen came over to take our order. I ordered the Irish... More

We had the pot roast and ham. It was all very good. Large portions. Loved their honey gathered here in the Rockies. We will be going back.

We stopped in for a late dinner with our 9- and 11-year olds...we sat at the bar and had the most delightful experience with the bartender who was also our server. She was engaging, funny and patient with our son who has a tough time making food decisions! She even brought out a sample of fried okra for him to... More

I had the chicken fried chicken and my wife had the pot roast and we enjoyed our dishes a lot. The jalapeño milk gravy really set off the chicken. More than we could eat at a good price. They do fry shrimp in the same oil as everything else though which meant that my wife couldn't eat any of the... More
