Wonderful restaurant with an extensive menu. We loved all the food we tried and were amazed at the large portions and service. Wish this was in our hometown because we would eat here all the time. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it. My favorite meal was the slow roasted pot roast and my other meal was the... More

Decided to try this restaurant out one night when we were in the area doing some shopping. Had heard from my sister-in-law that they had good food. That was the understatement of the year!! They have EXCELLENT food! My husband and I liked it so much that we took his sister and my parents there the very next week so... More

Best chicken fried steak! Staff very friendly and accommodating. The selection of veggie sides is extensive. Particularly good are the squash casserole and the spinach. Excellent baked sweet potato. Senior menu.

We ate here after a long day of site seeing. We had a new waitress, it was her first day. She did a great job. I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious. My son had the steak and he loved it. They give you big portions and I was happy with it. My father and my niece's... More

Went for lunch with friends. Love the senior menu! Had chicken and dumplings, very good. Great service! Nice that we can come here and depend on these things.

Was afraid i was walking into normal chain, but it had a different twist on many foods and your normal things. A place to get meat loaf, steak, roast beef, chicken, side of squash, sweet potatoes, chicken tenders....everyone was happy. Server was good.

We have been to this restaurant many times, used to be very good. This week the food was literally bad! The steamed broccoli was served with black mold. When I asked to see the manager, his response was it was just oxidation. So they brought out another one and it also had black mold spots. Sent it back and ordered... More

I ordered the ribeye steak med-rare,came out raw, they cooked a second steak which was even worse than the first one.The manager did not even say sorry just took the plate away. The service was worse than going to a fast food place. Never again Ever...Even if was free I would not go back.

Haven't seen a Black eyed Pea in several years! In town for a family reunion and found the BEP close to our hotel. Some of our bunch have already eaten there three times and we only been here four days. There is something on the menu for everyone. The food is always good and consistent. Really is good home cooking!... More
