Recommended by staff at The Broadmoor. Very nice, service excellent and the food outstanding. Only real critique is that if staff wears a mask, they should wear it over mouth and nose. Just covering mouth and not the nose is unacceptable. Staff did adjust when...mentioned but then went back to not covering nose.More
We ate here for my husband's birthday while we were in Colorado Springs. The food was spectacular and the waitstaff very attentive. Wonderful place for date night or special occasion. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.
Took close friends to dinner for their fors experience at the Peppertree. Servuce was pretty good. Youngest wait staff were the most professional. Out main server was pretty good. We ordered our food and it came up promptly my wife ordered the large lobster. It...looked goid. My wife did not understand why the bottom of the lobster was undercooked. I told the wait staff and they rectified it quickly. The filet mignon was undercooked for 2 meals. My friends decided to not make a fuss. We then ordered our dessertand it tasted very good. My complaint was when he notified the wait staff of the chipped bowl, he just said hmmm, as if to say, oh well. The last thing that happened was one member of the staff dropped a piece of silverware. Before he could picked it up, another member of the staff kicked the knife forward and it hit the chair of another patron. Then he kicked it again to get it out of the main restaurant. I thought it was a bit strange to do this with customers. I don't think we will be back there for a while.More
Absolutely loved the service and the food. The table side meals are fun to watch. We had delicious stakes and shrimp but the Bananas Foster made by the table was the best part of the evening. The servers were great they did not rush you...and were very attentive.. We will return to the Peppertree it was a terrific experienceMore
Pepper Tree Restaurant was an awesome and unique dining experience. The steaks were cooked perfectly and prepared table side. Went with the two chef recommendations and it did not disappoint. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! Cocktails and deserts were amazing as...well! Highly recommend for upscale dining in the Colorado Springs area! Will for sure go back!More
The only reason we give 4 stars as apposed to 5 stars is because objectively the restaurant is not aging well
We have greatly enjoyed every meal over the last 25 years but it is in dire need of a major remodel
Although the table...side preparation of the signature Pepper Steak is always wonderful we always feel like we need to shower after leaving the restaurant
Not cheap by any means but food is hard to beat
Panoramic view also very romantic but dining area is small and a little crowdedMore
The service is above and beyond exceptional, the food and drinks are delicious and atmosphere perfect for a family celebration!
From the signature peppertree steaks prepared tableside, to the appetizers (escargot - so good!), to the fresh delectable halibut and shrimp scampi, to the exquisitely...prepared beef Wellington - I could go on and on - everything we taste was in a word YUM! We had adults, teens and kids (7 & 9), all of us were thrilled with our meals. The desserts are off the charts, hands down AMAZING cherries jubilee and bananas foster - once again prepared flambeau style, oh and the expertise with the servers is wonderful!
As for the drinks, specialty cocktails are such a treat!
The view of the city while dining at night is beautiful. Would visit again for sure!More
A lovely dining experience with a great view of the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the steak (cooked table side) melted in my mouth. The house chutney they used on the filet was so flavorful!!
