Our dear friends took us here for some very good beer and some great fish and chips. The atmosphere was like you were in an old English pub in London. My husband loved the bear....and it was a lot to choose among, and I loved the food..cause it was like I said....your in England. We just loved it. And of... More

We had supper at this restaurant, the fish and chips were very good. There were also yard glasses of beer available if you so inclined which I thought was very interesting and fun. They had a piano player who gave you a song book and you were able to sing along with him.

The 3' tall 64 once tall beer glass was really cool. I watched a co worker knock down 2 of 'em The bartender was super cool and friendly. The people were also really cool. And piano picks out the songs for everyone to sing... Nice touch!

I personally felt the Golden Bee fell short of my expectations. The food is average and overpriced, but the atmosphere is wonderful. Ordering a yard-long beer is always a hoot.

We started our Broadmoor outing with lunch at the Golden Bee. They sat us in a covered outdoor area where we could enjoy the beautiful weather. They started us out with a cheese spread and saltines. The cheese was very good, but would have gone better with an assortment of crackers. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was excellent.

This is not the advertised 'authentic' pub but a US version of a pub. You're better off going to one of the other restaurants that has mountain views and authenticity. You can go to this type of restaurant anywhere.

The Bee is actually across the street from the hotel proper, but is part of the Broadmoor family of excellence. Recently remodeled, the Bee offer hearty English-pub style food--meat pies, fish and chips--and burgers. Good selection of brews on tap, plus more. Evenings feature a piano played and sing alongs--it can get really crowded but the recent expansion has helped... More

The Golden Bee is famous for freshly prepared pub food, and yards of the finest ales from an extensive collection of English and Irish drafts. Enjoy a hearty selection of snacks, appetizers and the true English tradition of fish and chips, a Reuben sandwich, or a selection of pot pies as lively piano tunes fill the 19th century English Pub. Guests are encouraged to participate in the cheerful atmosphere by joining the nightly Ragtime piano beginning at 7:30 PM and the sing along beginning at 9:30 PM nightly, and proudly wearing their own "Bee's" that change seasonally. Attire: Bermuda length shorts, dressy denim and collared shirts are required. Seasonal sport coat or blazer suggested. Please no athletic wear, sport wear, shorts, pool attire or gentlemen's hats.
