The restaurant has free parking. The employees were masked as a COVID-19 precaution. The restaurant has numerous rooms. I was seated in the front dining area, so I can only comment on that portion. There were several televisions, full bar service, and patio dining. My...server was friendly and attentive and my Cobb salad was excellent.More

Johnny has done it again. This retro restaurant and bar serves up delicious food, well priced drinks, music on certain nights and friendly servers. No surprise, the owner is often there to ensure things go smoothly.

Nothing fancy, but basically very good food at very reasonable prices, great service and good drinks. The broasted chicken and the Saturday night prime rib, which is better than most better known chain restaurants, are tasty and relatively inexpensive. The atmosphere is rustic neighborhood mom...and pop place. Not fancy, a bit worn, but service is prompt and friendly. Bar drinks are well made, again, nothing fancy, but tasty. Basic good value food for that inexpensive night out. Highly Recommended.More

We attended the big band jazz concert that The Hogan hosts twice a month. We reserved our table the day before and it was ready when we arrived. Our waitress was at our table promptly taking our order for drinks then food. The wine may...not be 4-star but the martinis are; and they have a full array of craft beer. They have an excellent selection of small bites, pizzas, or full meals, including vegetarian options. Love the Kobe sliders, the fish and chips are good, and the prime rib special is the real deal. It's a roadhouse, so there's nothing fancy or snooty about this place - just friendly service, good food, and great music in a interestingly historic structure. Highly recommend!More

What an experience to eat dinner in a national historic building, and watch football on the many TVs...really a neat thing. We've lived in Colorado Springs since the early 1960s and only now visited the Hogan. It was really cool. Not the greatest seating but...we all enjoyed our food and our server was 👌. Good sized portions, good variety.More

Have been going to this place with my family once a month for 3 years.. Went tonight will 11 people and it was the most awful experience ever.. I ordered 10 piece PRESSURE FRIED chicken and they gave me baked chicken.. Then a manager came...out and argued with me about how it was "broasted" but on the menu it is clearly advertised as pressure fried chicken... My son got mac n cheese and literally i can not even make this stuff up it was craft mac n cheese with cheese sprinkled on top and it was NOT COOKED ALL THE WAY.. My nephew got a burger and it had 2 patties on it the size of a silver dollar and they where super skinny like jimmy dean sausage patties but way smaller he is "autistic" and soon as he saw the burger said uncle what is this (all he eats when he goes out is burgers) and even he was confused as to what he got lol ... i do not know what is going on with this place but it used to be freaking amazing and now it is depressing.. My wife mom ordered a prime rib french dip and it came out like beef jerky dip.. no prime or rib was sad.. I do not recommend this place in its current state do not waste your money and time..More

We were recommended to come here. When we arrived we were directed and sat outside where we preferred. Waited 15 minutes. No waitress. I went inside to find the hostess who seated us and to order and was directed to our waitress who said she...was not informed we were outside. She said she'd come out to take our order. She did not come after we waited 10 minutes so we went back inside. It had started to drizzle out so we sat at an inside table. Note: (the restaurant was not very busy.) I then had to go get the waitress again informing her where we were sitting. She didn't come to take order for 10 minutes. After our order of pizza 1 pop 1 water, it took 12 more minutes to get the drinks. Our pizza arrived 5 minutes later. Pizza was tasty, meat chewy, but overall flavor good. Finished our meal. Waited for waitress to come back cause we needed more drink. I finally went to the bar myself to get a refill. Waitress came after 6 minutes and we asked for a to go box and bill. Promptly returned with the bill and we paid. I try and be fair to tip our waitresse's however I am sorry but I could not tip her what she should have received but I did leave a very small trip. It's unfortunate that because of this waitress we will NEVER go back.More

Had dinner at the Hogan last week. We all enjoyed our meals. We were there prior to the music starting but it had a feel of a fun evening with live music. Service was good and staff was friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant was built in 1935 as a roadhouse.and constructed after a Navajo dwelling. The original owner spent time with Navajo Indians, some of whom worked as miners in Colorado. The menu is extensive and good. There’s live music on weekend nights. Always has been...an enjoyable spot for lunch or dinner!More
