Of the few Caribbean restaurants in the springs, this by far is the best. Food is delicious. 4 star because of long wait times on every visit.

Stopped in for lunch on Good Friday. It took 20 mins for water, another 12 mins to order & 15 mins for the check. We were there over an hour. Ordered curry chicken that was bland. The bbq wings were good. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Saw it on triple D. Service was non-exsistent. Staff displayed no sense of urgency. Worst... More

Had Jerk Pork, Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, Cabbage, Rice & Peas & appetizers. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was very friendly and helpful. Cook/Cheif ("goes by Uncle") came out and talked about the recipes. We will be back.

My husband took me here for a birthday treat. He had outstanding (perfectly spiced) jerk pork and I had the creamy (from coconut milk) vegetarian 5 bean stew with 2 sides each (rice and peas, macaroni & cheese and johnny cakes). Truly excellent flavor for all dishes. We have eaten here in the past and each time have been warmly... More

While sleeping off jet lag in Denver the Food Network featured a visit to Spice Island and we had to just give it a try. The place is a modest and unassuming little building painted in bright colors and featuring "island" type music. A simple, but affordable menu offers chicken jerky, goat curry, and assorted ethnic dishes straight fir Jamaica... More

If service is important to you, skip it. Food was good but not worth the aggravation. My husband sat at the bar for over 20 minutes and was never acknowledged by the bartender (who was present and only 4 other chairs at the bar were occupied). I'll spare you the rest of the details. If you have all the time... More

Saw on Diners drive ins and dives on 1/1/2016 so went there shortly after they open d on 1/03/16 and not impressed! Had goat and jerk chicken lunches both lacked flavor and chicken was really dry. Rice was way under cooked, so hoping for local Jamaican food, not here

Menu was totally different than on line. They had very few items to choose from. Waited and hour for food and it was not good. Had spicy pork and chicken sandwiches and both had a small amount of meat and the seasoning was not good. Was overpriced for what we received. Will not be going back here.

Thank J D
