Nice ambiance inside and out, decent service. The pizzas have little sauce on them so I suppose they could say they are fairly authentic to Italy but they were skimpy with toppings too, so there wasn’t much flavor. 4 pizzas, salads, 3 wines and a...coke + tip= $193. In my estimation about $60 too much for average food.More

Always excellent foods and service. We usually get drinks, salads, pizzas, and dessert to share. The pizza crusts are exceptionally good-- thin, crispy around the edges. Perfect. Ingredients are fresh and the listed combinations all are tasty. We've eaten all of them and enjoyed every...one. The staff is welcoming and efficient. They never have too many tables assigned to them and even manage to be attentive to customers seated upstairs. It's a regular, go-to restaurant for us.More

We came here based on another review which said “for the love of God you’ve got to try this pizza!” So we came here and we were not disappointed! The pizza certainly ranks on the top of my favorite pizzas list. The restaurant was quaint...and homey…very Italian. Our server, Aunna (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was exceptional, maybe the best I ever had. She helped us through the extensive wine and craft beer lists. Sh made the experience better. The next night, we struck out getting into 2 different restaurant (wait list was too long) so we went back and not only had pizza again, but had the cannolis too! For the love of God, try the cannolis! 😊 Seriously, order the cannolis!!! We are from Iowa and the next time we are in the area, we will be back! Thanks!More

This small restaurant is in the heart of a quaint, beautiful downtown area. There is a small amount of parking near the restaurant so plan on trying to find a public parking area and walking a couple of blocks. We enjoyed an appetizer (yummy fonduta),...ceasar salad, pepperoni & cheese pizza, and cannoli. All were clearly made fresh with quality ingredients and tasted really good. The service was excellent. Prices are in line with other Colorado Springs restaurants of similar style.More

We started with one of the wines recommended by our server Jaime, it was perfect for my tastes. The Fonduta was incredible, I could have eaten just that and left happy. We enjoyed Cesare salads and then pizza. The crust dough was light and wonderful,...especially if drizzled with one of the two accompanying infused oils. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, although I would have loved a bit more of that luscious cheese. And we finished with Tiramasu. We left satisfied but not over stuffed. It was a wonderful meal, quaint restaurant with wonderful service. We will return!More

We were visiting CS from KC and took a chance on Pizzeria Rustica against my wishes because I'm tired of bad pizza and I don't go for modern pizzas with pineapple and cauliflower and goat cheese and no tomato sauce. Anyway, Judy and I got...a normal old-fashioned cheese pizza with sausage on one half and extra sauce. This was the best pizza I have had in years mainly because the sauce was flavorful and freshly made and did not come out of a can. (Well, the cheese and crust were really good also.) In addition, the ambience on the patio was great and the service was outstanding. After that first visit, I wanted to eat there every day, but Judy wouldn't hear of it, so we ate there one other evening and were going to have lunch there on our last day, but they were closed. If you are in CS don't miss this place!More

Then we found pr and ate on the inside as outside was crowded....The salad was amazing along with the pizza we order. Get place to eat.More

We had such a craving for pizza which led us here to the old section of Colorado Springs and to this restaurant. The building is repurposed and is an old half-way house which I thought was quite cool. The ambience inside is amazing and it...is a fitting setting for such amazing pizza. I ordered the Rustica while my g/f had their white pizza. They were both done in record time and came out fresh and hot from the oven. They were simply some of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. The crust was light and flaky with a wonderful smoky flavor to it. They weren't swimming in toppings at all and just fantastic! The next time we are back in town it will be hard to go here just once.More

Wow! By far the best meal on our two week vacation! If you’re looking for good, authentic Italian with top quality ingredients and a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a great bottle of wine and an evening with family and friends just go! I have a...gluten sensitivity, I get severe migraines… But because this flour is flown in from Italy making it top-quality I was able to eat regular pizza for the first time in seven years with no headaches! Just wish we lived closer! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. And service was fast.More

Visiting Colorado Springs and wanting good pizza, I spent at least 20 min. online comparing pizza places. I finally chose Pizzeria Rustica and was thrilled I did. Thin crust , stone-fired pizza and it was great. The crust was thin but just thick enough to...give a flavor that was delightful. I found folding the crust while eating worked best for me. The ingrediants were fresh and flavorful. They also served small servings of 2 sauces that added even more flavor. Our server was soo very pleasant and helpful as well. Next trip this is on the list of places to eat. Very good selection of beer and wine as well.More

The actual restaurant has a very cheap feeling with plastic table clothes. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. I wanted to love the pizza but it was just lacking any real flavor. It was very bland almost like we were eating what I...believe a nursing home would serve. I ate my entire pizza but for the price, I was expecting higher quality. Would I eat here again, maybe I’d give it a second chance.More
