I've found my new favorite coffee house. The drinks are wonderful, the steampunk decor is fantastical, and the atmosphere is both cozy and whimsical at the same time. This place was a delight from start to finish, and I can't wait to come back.

We decided to go here off of a whim and we were glad we did it. Fun decorations and atmosphere. The hot drinks were amazing and the employees were super friendly and knowledgeable! This is going on our list of places that we will make...frequent stops!More

Java Punk is literally a hidden gem because it is difficult to find due to lack of street signage. It is located in a strip mall in a niche next door to a pet service. GPS would help ( 4029 Tutt Blvd.) Upon entering there...is seating outside as well as in the light filled vestibule. Once entering the main room, it becomes much darker and highly decorated. Its womb like Bohemian atmosphere is reminiscent of Montague's on South Tejon with the addition of books. They have a variety of food and beverages on offer. My colleague selected a latte served in a glass mug. I selected green tea which was served with some pomp about its being brewed for X number of minutes before being served with the tea bag on the side. Both were okay. Would I go back? Maybe. I like to order rooibos tea: they do not offer it. If you want to avoid a Starbuck's ( under a mile away on Barnes ), it is an ambiance drenched option. Apparently there is a devoted following.More

Coffee was great, as were the pastries! They also have a small gluten free section, I chose a chocolate brownie and it was good. I loved the decor, and how this coffee shop is designed with many small areas for friends to sit together and...socialize, or to sit alone and work. They even have a room with games to play, as well as a giant Scrabble game on the wall. It is a very relaxing and enjoyable environment. I also can’t say enough about the staff. They are so friendly!!! We have experienced such great customer service each time we are there. If you want to check it out, try a Monday. They have Mustache Mondays and they will give you a discount if you have a Mustache, or a picture of a Mustache. If you don’t, they will even give you a sticker of a Mustache to use, and to keep with you for next time. And speaking of discounts, they also offer a Military discount!❤️ This is a good place to check out!!More

I came here with my friends. I had to bring my 4 yr old along. And I was super happy to find out that they offer toys for kids to play with. It's a cute spot. The coffee was very good. We are definitely making...another coffee date there.More
