We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here so very much. The scallops were on point, perfectly cooked, the sides were wonderful, and the desserts were gorgeous. For desert we ordered a pan fried crepe filled with a smooth cheese custard type filling, I'm sorry I can't describe it better than that, and it was covered with a vanilla whiskey sauce. That... If you are looking for a place where you absolutely get what you pay for then Carlos Bistro is the place for you. We had a family reunion in Colorado Springs and I was looking for an upscale restaurant to take our adult kids and spouses. I tried initially to book a table for 13 at one of the Broadmoor... More

How can this possibly be regarded as one or the best restaurants in Colorado Springs??? Owner was gracious and welcoming...server was attentive but had to go back to kitchen a few times to answer questions...atmosphere was nice.... My wife and I both ordered foie gras which was excellent....then things went down hill big time. I ordered weinerschnitzel and my wife... More

This is the best restaurant in all of Colorado! The food is pricey, BUT WORTH IT!!! The table bread is homemade, with homemade butter sprinkled with sea salt. There were 7 people in our party. Each of us ordered a separate dish and it was ALL good. The service was outstanding. We pulled into the parking lot and Carlos walked... More

Decided to return to Carlos and I should have ordered the Veal Saltimbocca, a previous excellent dish. BUT our server offered a veal chop as a special and I got suckered into ordering this POS chop! My mistake in not asking the price of this special which turned out to be $90! UGG! Over half of it was fat and... More

For our 20th anniversary, our children arranged an evening at this world class restaurant. We were warmly greeted in the parking lot by Carlos and escorted to our table by Marcia. Mere words cannot describe the experience. They have a perfect level of attention to every detail, amazing layers of flavor, and service as if you were their only guest.... More

I had lamb, and it was outstanding!! The flavor was excellent, it was very tender, and it was cooked perfectly. My wife had steak with a jalapeno sauce that she loved. I also had the owners special cocktail. It was some kind of frozen swirl drink. It was also delicious, so delicious that I had two of them. Oh, and... More

This is a lovely little bistro in an unexpected location. The food and service are top notch. I enjoyed the grilled scallops (3 for $45). The spinach was bland, though. I had to add butter to it. The feta Greek salad was nice. My husband had the calamari pasta, and he liked it. We each had a martini. The bill... More

This restaurant was recommended to us, and it did not disappoint! The food was truly outstanding, and the service was super friendly. Carlos himself greets you when you arrive and makes sure you are having a good experience throughout. His son, Johnny, was an excellent server, and made many helpful recommendations. Definitely try this restaurant!
