We picked this place since it was #1 in TA for Colorado City. Overall, a great place to eat. My advice is get there before noon since the place was packed and there was a wait line when we left. Service was great and attentive....We had the following and our 1-5 ratings were: 5 - Beef burrito smothered in green chili. Huge, delicious, and the right spice level 5 - Tamales. My wife loved it. Lunch was so filling that we had to have a very lite supper when we got to Santa Fe. I think most patrons were "roadies" like we were.More

I spent a long day on the road and was staying across the street from this restaurant. I had a very good meal, including a tasty cheesecake for dessert. The country music that was playing was good, too!

While in Colorado, we stopped here for a great dinner. Super vibe, family friendly. Seems like the kind of place you go for a couple of drinks with friends or bring the kids for lunch or dinner. The place was busy yet the waitress was...super nice.More

Met friends here for breakfast prior to a nearby golf outing. We liked it so much we all returned for dinner and my wife and I subsequently returned for lunch. The western ranch atmosphere makes you comfortable right away. The well thought out menu has...a good variety but doesn't overwhelm with pages of selections. The food was great each time...chicken fried steak/chicken were hits, the burgers were great, bread pudding and carrot cake were wonderful. As important, the service was tremendous. It was quickly recognized that the servers were well trained/experienced and enjoyed what they were doing. Patty and Morgan served us during our visits and both were outstanding. This is a great restaurant obviously appreciated by locals and a great, relaxing dining spot for travelers along I25.More

Great steaks. The servers are top cow girls. Always a great drive from Pueblo. We should do this more often. Just tell the girls that you're hungry.

We came here for dinner upon the recommendation of one of the owners of Flower Aviation. She may have been a bit biased as this is her restaurant that she co-owns with her sisters. I am all for supporting small businesses so I was completely...game for trying her restaurant. There were 3 of us and we asked to be seated at a table since there was a little wait for a booth, but not for a table. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone! We ordered the caprese salad. It's a little different from typical caprese salads, but it was super delicious. The grilled goat cheese that they serve is amazing!! After reading all our options, all 3 of us decided on the pork and avocado burrito, which was also smothered in their pork green chile made with Pueblo chiles. This burrito was so delicious and so filling too. The green chile had just the right kick and I could have eaten a gallon of their green chile!! If you're up for a quick drive from Pueblo, Three Sisters is worth the drive!More

At the end of our third day of pre-Philmont sightseeing, we pulled into Three Sisters not knowing what to expect, but knowing that we were hungry and tired. As soon as we entered, we knew we'd found something special. Three Sisters is clearly a local...favorite, but the staff made us feel like we fit right in. We'd been working with them well in advance to make sure they were ready for a group of 19, and they were, and more. Service was outstanding, and, as noted above, the food was enough to make me want to live in Colorado City. Everyone in our group came away satisfied and, more importantly, with a new surge of energy to get us down the road and nearer to Cimarron. I could go on, but the best recommendation I can make is that if you're anywhere within 100 miles of Three Sisters, go there!More

Had dinner here with family. Very busy place. They dont take reservations. Service was good. Seated after a minimal wait. Drink order was taken and delivered quickly. Food was ordered and also delivered quickly. We all had something different, Hamburger, chicken fried steak, burrito, tamales,...and steak. No complaints with any of the food. Just FYI..if you order the Pork and Avocado Burrito..its very filling. Recommend this resturant and will visit again.More

Excellent locally grown food using southwest techniques and homemade foods . Nice variety so not everything is spicy. Mid afternoon was the perfect time to arrive to avoid peak crowds . With the quality if their food I’m sure they are busy. Great experience!

We needed a place to eat in CC and found this gem. I read the reviews posted here so knew to order the Pork/Avocado Burrito .... it was amazing! We also ordered the Fried Avocado appetizer and I wanted to luck the plate, but short...of that we did keep the plate to dip our fries in the remaining sauce. Yum! We also shared the chicken fried steak. The steak was very tender and the meal was so good. My son had the fish and chips, again...so good. There was so much food left over though and sadly we could not take with is due to travel. Portions are large. I did get the bread pudding to go, but that will be breakfast in the morning. It looks amazing!More

A southwestern treat not to be missed! Avocado in tempura batter topped with their green chili sauce. Next their pork burrito followed by their famous bread pudding. All yummy and served by our helpful, friendly servers Amy.

The three sisters tavern is a good concept but they need to hire guest friendly staff to continue their business image. Try to avoid hiring racist employees such as “Ashley”, the bartender. She is so racist that it just spills from every word she says....I am a business owner myself and know the hiring process unless it comes from the openers, which I am highly doubtful, Ashley is not a good choice for hire. A racist and rude employee can damage the restaurant image.More

We had just come out of the mountains from a drive and I opened TA and this restaurant was only a mile in front of us. We were hungry and decided to not even look further. So glad we stopped here. My friend had the...pork & avocado burrito which was massive and had to take 1/2 home. I ordered the tamales which they only serve on Fri-Sat-Sun. I do not typically like my tamales smothered but right out of the husk. These were covered in green chili and other toppings and were delicious. I also like that they were served with pintos instead of refried beans. Check out the menu on their web site - everything looks delicious. I think I will drive out of my way on my next trip just to try something else. They only thing I did not care for about our visit is that the menus are taped to the wall and were difficult to read.More
