We stopped for lunch at Three Sisters while passing through the area. It is conveniently right off I-25 and highway 165. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside and enjoyed the views of Greenhorn Mountain. Our server was friendly and our food and...drinks were brought out quickly. The food was excellent - I had a BLT with avocado and it was delicious, probably best BLT I've had. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would definitely eat here again if in the area.More

While heading home to Chandler, AZ from Fort Collins, we stopped to fill up in Colorado City, Colorado. It was about lunchtime so we crossed the freeway looking for a restaurant. All we saw was a bar and Hemp dispensary. We went to the other...side of the freeway, around the corner from the gas station and their was this restaurant with lots of cars in the parking lot. We went in. This was Three Sister’s Tavern. My wife ordered the Pork & Avocado Burrito which was excellent! I ordered the Tres Hermanas Burrito which was good, but not as good! The servers were friendly and prompt. All in all it was a great stop! Hope to get back there again sometime. Do yourself a favor, if your at this intersection, stop in to Three Systers, you won’t be disappointed.More

I came in here for breakfast the other day, and the waitress was rude, dismissive, inattentive and treated me like I was a dangerous weirdo (always a pleasant experience for a single person when he or she goes to get pancakes). The food was very...expensive and the portions were generous but the food is relatively bland and flavorless. The waitress was very friendly with everyone she recognized, but I felt distinctly like I was not wanted or welcomed - that it my lot to shovel the sh*t down as quickly as possible and then leave. I have given this place multiple tries, but honestly I think I'm not going back. Small town fear and suspicion just doesn't make a pleasant dining experience.More

I’m so full. That’s what everyone said when we left and got back in the car. Staff was friendly and I felt at home. Serious country vibe.

Thank you TA. We had a drive from Colorado Springs to Great Sand Dune NP and needed a decent restaurant to stop at. This spot was a FIND! The place has a very western feel, diverse menu of mostly "southwest" specialties, laid back and friendly...service, and amazing food. Listen to your waitress. If she says it's good....it's going to be great. Get something with the bread. It's fried....almost like a beignet without the powdered sugar. OMG. My husband got the meatloaf. ? seriously? Another OMG. I don't like beef and would have sold my firstborn for his entire plate. If you find yourself in Colorado City, stop. It's a destination, all to itself.More

Trying to think of something negative. Gorgeous waitresses. Delicious food. Wonderful service. I'm still thinking.

My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch. Due to Covid, the restaurant could only sit half it’s capacity. We were not greeted on entering the restaurant. When a waitress did ask us about how many were in our party, we stated two...and were told that we would need to wait for a booth to open which was fine. We watched one booth open but no wait staff would clear and clean the table. Another booth opened and again no one would clear it. A bigger party entered and they were able to sit at a large table but knowing we had been waiting, no one made the effort to clear a table. After 20 minutes, my husband asked a waitress if she would clear a table for us which she finally did. Oddly, she only cleared one table although there were two open. We watched other customers enter and wait because staff would not clear the tables. At one point, there were 3 tables open and two parties waiting. Food was average. We never got refills on water. There were plenty of staff, just unmotivated to clear the tables and sit customers.More

Unexpected jewel. I jump off the highway here frequently for gas and a bag of chips. Last night had the desire to sit down and eat somewhere and tried this place. Now I really regret having not stopped here before. What a great find. They...have a Tempura cooked avocado that is to die for. Don’t think I’ve ever used that term before. As an appetizer it was a bit pricey but with every penny. There’s a pretty decent selection on the menu. I had to try the chicken fried steak for dinner. Nice big proportions with mashed and real green beans. I added the green Chile sauce along with the gravy and found a very tasty combination. They were busy and have had to reduce their seating a bit. We had a short wait at dinner time. The staff was friendly, professional and very efficient. There’s a dog friendly patio if you’re traveling with the pooch. I highly recommend you give them a try. Looking forward to my next trip down I-25 and stopping here again.More

1st time - stopped in you enjoy the Sisters Steak salad with homemade roasted garlic vinaigrette salad dressing served in a 'wash tub' sized bowl. Try and carrot cake and bread pudding! Say hello to cowgirl Samantha when you stop in to eat. Ask her...about barrel racing.More

We were directed to this by the nearby KOA. The food, service and country western ambience were a treat. My wife bragged on the vinaigrette salad dressing and I was pleased with the tamale dinner. The waitress bragged on the Pueblo green Chile but we...did not find it up to the standards of New Mexico green Chile, but still quite good.More
