We started at Dos when they opened in 1977. We have have others that we have gone to over the years, but we always come back. We have family from all over the west that come to visit, and always ask to go to Dos...Hombres. We have family gatherings now and then too. A special thank you to Sarah, who is our regular waitress too.More

We had our first experience here. It was okay. I'm from Arizona so I prefer a good variety of sauces and other Sonoran-style dishes in my Mexican food. You just don't find these in Colorado. They had several sauces to choose from so that was...great. The tamales were a very thick masa and not much filling but, tasted okay. The enchilada was made with a flour tortilla, not corn, the meat was tasty so it was fine. Didn't care much for the rice at all. The beans were tasty but very dry. The Flan was absolutely amazing but I felt it was overpriced. The service was very, very good. Everything else was reasonably priced. All in all, it was okay. I would go back knowing what to expect. It had a beautiful interior but just okay food. I could not consider this "fine dining" as the name says.More

The restaurant took extra precautions in these COVID times to distance diners. Staff wore masks. We had an early dinner and enjoyed the food. It was plentiful and I came away for an extra meal the next day off the portion sizes. Service was good...and they were attentive to any needs we may have. I had a house margarita at Happy Hour prices with my meal and found it good. I did order a side of rice and found it wasn't prepared with much extra seasoning, but that was the only thing that I could suggest for improvement.More

We stopped coming here for almost a year in hopes they would improve. We came back to give it a try since it has been our neighborhood go to forever. Nope. All the rice in our burritos was crunchy and service was as poor as...ever.More

We went for dinner on Feb 21 and there were 8 in our party. I have to say since I've lived here for 30 years we have been frequently visiting Dos. There are 18 of us in our family and we always come here when...we have family. The night we came in, the food was not even close to serving standards. So to the point, stuffed sopapillas were mostly all bread. We had to ask for extra sauce to cover the smothered burrito. It was dry. The Sante Fe Egg rolls, again too much bread. And the fried ice cream look like it had a cup of chocolate sauce over ice cream and no crunch. As much as feedback is sometimes perceived as negative, I am really writing this because I do not want your restaurant to go downhill. I hope you can fix these problems...please.More

The food was OK. I had the "Stacked Enchiladas" and my wife had the "New Mexico Combo". I was disappointed with rice, but the rest of the meal was OK. One thing stood out however, the corn pudding. I think they called it "Corn Casserole"....It was delicious.More

We’ve been forgotten and had lights turned OFF on us, 20 minutes to check out, getting a refill is a rarity anymore, never changed our rewards number after asking 10 times, so sad to lose our go to place. Food is still great...when things aren’t...forgotten which is common.More

Dos Hombres used to be great. Not anymore. It looked like a new menu with higher prices. My husband had beef tacos, he said they were ok. I had the Chicken Chimichanga with rice and refried beans. The chimichanga had a small amount of dried...salsa on it. There was about 1/4 cup of refried beans, the rice portion was average. It was poor to fair in flavor. The waitress was polite. That's the only positive I can offer. We are searching for a new Mexican restaurant. Avoid this place.More
