Food is always amazing and they just have it down. Consistency is key and the expectations never disappoint. Great job Dos!

I accompanied a video crew for a shoot in Fruita, and had lunch here from a recommendation. The service was great as were the chips/salsa and guacamole. The remaining meals were not bad, but "average" Mexican food. My soft corn taco was dry and fell apart when I picked it up. The fajitas were average, the green chili just "okay."... More
I have lived in Grand Junction a long time and DOS has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I prefer the one on 32 Road over the one in the Redlands which everyone in GJ has a preference but I'm Clifton all the way. I like the Square Chili Rellanos with Dos Green and I love the rice. We enjoyed the food here. Great Mexican food and the drinks were yummy as well. It is more of a family type restaurant so if you are looking for something for date night or someplace you would eat without the kids (because you don't get the chance very often :-)), I would recommend another place. There were ten in our party including 4 children 9 and under. The waitperson went out of her way to work with the mom to make sure the children were satisfied with their orders. She also did some customizing of our orders. The food was excellent.
The staff was able to accommodate our party of eight without reservation. Service was friendly, prices were reasonable, food was amazing.

The salad was amazingly fresh and tasty greens (NO iceberg lettuce, THANK YOU!!). The guacamole and salsa provided a great oil free dressing. My hubby's bean tostada was delicious too.
When I go to Dos Hombres, I have to have their fry bread. The best way to experience it in my opinion is to get a bowl of the white chicken chili and dip the bread in it. Can't go wrong. This trip I tried the Navajo Taco. Should have stuck with the bowl of chili. The bread stayed crisp... More
