We were camping near Steamboat and stopped at Hahns Peak Cafe for a sunset brew and appetizers. The staff were very friendly and ambience / views were perfect. Food so good we came for dinner the next night, when a small duo were singing and...playing guitar. We highly recommend this when you're in the area! We hear their breakfasts/ brunch are also delish!More
We were referred by Glen Eden management to the Cafe for an alternative to heading into Steamboat while they look for new restaurant manager there. Good choices on their menu, whimsical decorating inside and a great patio make this a place we will return in...the future. Prices are reasonable also.More
If you ever visit Steamboat Lake near Clark Colorado this is a must visit. The food is excellent and if you sit out on the patio you will be presented with an overlook of part of Steamboat Lake and the mountains surrounding it. They do...not skimp on the food so bring your appetite and enjoy this fantastic experience.More
Went there for lunch while camping at Steamboat Lake State Park. Had a delicious lunch sitting on the front deck looking at that spectacular view. We had the green chili cheese fries, the special grilled cheese sandwich (can't remember the name), and Reuben sandwich. Then...took leftovers and dessert back to the camper....a mixed berry pie and Grand Marnier chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, service was very good and friendly, place was busy so waited just a bit for our food, but the wait was reasonable and we were not in a hurry. Will go back next time we are in the area. Highly recommend for a nice, casual meal with beer or wine.More
My husband and I drove up tonight for dinner. There were a number of things on the menu we were both interested in …. he had the Philly burrito and I had the Finnoff’s Grilled Cheese (oh my goodness, it's SO good!). We were both...very happy with our choices and we'll definitely be back to try the other things on the menu that looked good to us! Our waiter was great and very effecient....no complaints about the service or how quickly we received our food.More
When open (about to close for “mud season” for the next 4-5 weeks), this small, quaint cafe is a great option for Sunday brunch. Have had both the Pork Enchiladas with Eggs (any style) and Biscuits and Gravity recently and both were excellent. Coffee is...hot and flavorful! Waitress is personable and efficient as well!More
Cute restaurant and had the best BLT hearty sandwich of my life! Also the chicken tortilla soup was amazing and full of thick pieces of chicken and vegetables. I would give this place a higher rating but their prices are ridiculously high - a piece...of chocolate lava cake costs over $11! Also they rent and promote snowmobiles and ATV's. I am not a fan of motorized recreation destroying the peace and quiet and clean air of the backcountry and stressing the wildlife.More
