We visited here once and very disappointed. We were seated at the counter right in front of the faucet where the waitstaff wash their hands and fill up water for coffee etc…. We were constantly feeling water from one of the waitresses shaking her hands...after washing them there in front of us. Honestly, I can’t imagine anyone would want to sit a foot away from a faucet where people wash their hands. The food was mediocre at best, I had chicken salad sandwich and it had so much mayonnaise that the croissant was falling apart, the best part was the fries. My husband can’t even remember what he had because it was so bad. There were booths available but since we were only 2 people and it was a Saturday, we were out at the counter which by the way was during COVID and they did not adhere to the distance of 6’. I could have touched the person’s plate we were so close. We asked to be moved but were told we couldn’t and we had already ordered our food but should have just left. The bathroom was filthy so I wonder how clean the kitchen is. Won’t be going back.More

Took family in for what seemed a nice place to have a good breakfast. Was greeted by a staff member who cleared and offered a table. We were stopped by another staff member who sternly told the other “I have a list”. Then looked at...me and said there would be a 15-20 min wait. That’s not bad really, but we were in a bit of a hurry. While pausing to consider, she saw an obviously local “cowboy” and went up close to him saying his name quietly and “you won’t have to wait, I’ll get you a table right away”. I cannot review the rest of the experience because that was enough. Went elsewhere.More

Had breakfast with a family member and we split the cinnamon roll, it was about 4inch in diameter. The icing is more powder sugar and not as much cream cheese flavor. It had a nice cinnamon flavor not to over powering. We ate it so...quickly forgot to take a photo. I had the We Call Her Lori. I had the ham and cheese version. It was a little different as the cheese was baked on top and was quite cheesy. I selected to have the biscuit which had a light texture. Due to Covid-19 when we arrived they were at capacity, they asked us to wait in our car, took cell number and put us on the list. I received a confirmation txt. I was able to keep checking on our status online. The system worked well.More

We stopped in for breakfast a couple of weekends ago and I can't wait to return. I had one of the best breakfasts I've had in a very long time. I had the California Benedict - thick english muffin, spinach, mushroom and perfectly cooked eggs...and perfectly ripe avocado. It came with potatoes that were delicious. My husband had something with a burger and egg. We both were stuffed. It was one of those meals where you know you should quit eating but it's so good you want to lick your plate. But one thing I really have to mention is that I had the best Bloody Mary of my life. I don't know what in it - but it wasn't sweet like some. It had celery and pickles only so it wasn't stuffed with extras but it was the best tasting. We got a nice table outside on the patio as well. The place is clean and cute. Can't wait to go back.More

Like their breakfasts that feature Chicken Fried Steak. Biscuits & Gravy are decent. If you like southwestern/Mexican breakfast, try the Juan & Only as it is pretty good. Great place to grab breakfast or lunch.

Great food in a historic location. Good menu choices. Breakfast selection and quality was good. Good coffee. Service was a bit indifferent.

This place has history written all over it. Looking around you can see the pictures on the walls and the building itself just oozes history. This is not in a bad way, but if like history then this is a place to see. But we...are here for the food, right? I went for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The pricing was on par with the quality of the food. Hash browns were really good, eggs cooked spot on and the sour dough toast was good. It is a place for family to meet as there is another section for groups. Staff was very nice and talkative. If you read the history of the place you can still see two bullets from a shoot out which is great. All in all the food is good quality and the price goes with it. Definitely one for my travel log.More

For a place with "homemade pie" on the sign, we expected a pie menu. Nope--they had one type. Then, it's only offered in a small mini pie size for $7. It was then only ok. Fiesta salad was uninspired and meh. I counted 10 servers...but they were so busy interacting with each other, we customers were a bother apparently. We sat at the bar for about 5 minutes with everyone walking by us before someone finally acknowledged us. Table behind us also had problems finding their server. No veggie burger of any kind on the menu, which we found surprising in today's climate. With so many choices, we won't be back for lunch.More

Always a wait for breakfast here on weekends! Food is always freshly prepared and flavorful. I particularly like their breakfast potatoes. Everything on the menu seems to be really good.

I always try something new every time I go and I am never disappointed. There’s always a line so either get there early or be prepared to wait - but it’s worth it!
