I think this is the 3rd time we've visited El Korita and it did not disappoint. They have changed up the menu since the last time we were there. This time we had a 2-item combo with a Sope(s) with shredded pork and an Enchilada...with Shredded Beef; and a 2-item combo with a Beef and Bean Burrito and a Crispy Chile Relleno. Both combos had Rice and Beans on the side. Their Refried Beans are SO good!! The Margaritas aren't bad either. If you've never been to El Korita I would say to not expect fancy. However, they do have really good service and really good food and are very accommodating. We will definitely be back.More

If you want Menudo in the greater Denver area – this is your place! Menudo, every day of the week, which is quite rare. The recipe is exquisite! You will not only find delicious home-made chips and salsa every time you stop by, but every...dish is quite authentic and tastes like a home-made meal. While you are there, you can also pick up some great spices, authentic Mexican soda drinks and “family” size beers. The staff is very friendly and truly caters to your needs. Highly recommend if you are looking for a family, small feel kind of a Mexican restaurant.More

Went here for the first time last night. It was delicious and they were so nice. The salsa is probably the best I've ever had. I ate the soft tacos -- really good. I would recommend this to anyone. Next time I'm in Castle Rock,...I'll be there!More

We had been out getting stuff done and before going home in Larkspur thought we would stop by a Mexican place on the way. This is a little hole in the wall local place. The food was phenomenal!! Truly one of the best Mexican dinner...we have had including dinning in Mexico. Highly recommended this place. We will be back!More

I Have frequented this restaurant many, many times for lunch. Ive always gotten the same thing every time I go in there. I get the lunch crispy tacos and ask for beans instead of rice since I do not eat the rice. Ive never had...an issue with this uncomplicated order until today. I was brought rice when my meal came and so I asked the waitress to just bring me a side of beans. She wanted to take my plate and remove the rice first, but being in a hurry as I only get a limited lunch break I asked her to leave my pate and just bring the beans they had messed up. She did.... however when I went to pay for my meal, they charged me for the beans. She told me her manager or boss told her too. I asked to speak with him, but he would not make himself available. She told me that since I did not let her take my plate and remove the rice, that she had to charge me for the beans. I explained to her that this was not fair since they were the ones that messed up, but I would pay for the beans, they would just lose a weekly customer over $1.25. She just shrugged as if she couldnt care, and obviously the owner or manager there doesnt either. The food has always been mediocre at best so there is no sense in me continuing to patronize this restaurant that makes me pay extra for their mistakes. If the manager would have made it right, it would not have been a big deal, but instead I payed $15.00 for three crispy tacos and some refried beans..... pretty outrageous to me.More

This is an authentic family owned Mexican food restaurant. The family are really good people, but the food is legit! Want good authentic food? El Korita is worth a visit, and much better than a chain.

Good service. Very good food with generous portions and reasonable prices. Small restaurant with family atmosphere. Would come here again. Waiter was very friendly but not overly attentive, yet available when we needed something.

Poor service, waited for 15 mins before leaving without drinks. 3 orders of chips in the window and last just went to office and sat down.

I don't think you'd ever need a reservation here... it's super-laid back. I've never been in before 1100a or after 800p but that covers a good portion of the day. The only thing you need to plan around is Sunday - they're... More
