This is a great, basic, American Restaurant. Food is good, Service is friendly. Good selection of food in the traditional American way. Great apple pie. Full bar. Worth a visit. It could become your 'regular family diner'.

We had heard so many great things about Castle Cafe, especially the pan fried chicken. Even though we try to stay away from fried foods, we decided to try this highly rated place tonight. Sure enough, we split an order of fried chicken.... even though we had to wait 35 minutes for it to be specially prepared for us... same... More

This small restaurant in the heart of Castle Rock is really a find. The fried chicken dinner (my friends and I normally get it "family style") is so good - comfort food at its best! First, the chicken is crisp and golden without a lot of unnecessary breading. It's done just like my grandma & mom always made fried chicken.... More

Great Service and food. We had the pan fried chicken dinner served family style. The atmosphere is great because it is a historical 1800's building and we love sitting in the booths by the windows. I remember the first time we went it was snowing and we watched the snow falling through the antique glass window.

Fish and chips were delicious. The salad was okay. Loved reading about the history of the cafe. Service was friendly, but a bit slow.

You can't get a restaurant like this anywhere else. I love this restaurant. We eat here for special occasions. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. The atmosphere is also really good. To those who do not like dead animals on the walls be warned. They have animals on the wall but that makes the restaurant unique. I... More

We saw their sign advertising their "world famous" fried chicken and decided to go there for lunch. Once we ordered we were told that the fried chicken is only offered on the dinner menu. We ordered a brisket sandwich and the seared tuna "salad". I thought the salad was going to be large, but was in fact a few pieces... More

I give this place 2 stars for the Cobb Salad. At $13.50 it was expensive, small and not at all appetizing. Admittedly, if my wife was reviewing her meal (Chicken Fried Chicken), she would probably give Castle Café 4 ½ to 5 stars. And I have to say her meal looked delicious, but if you aren’t going to Castle for... More

This restaurant has been there for decades. It is famous for its pan fried chicken, also the chicken fried steak is good. I go there to get walleye, which is hard to find in Colorado!

The food is always good. My favorites are their salads. My husband likes their BBQ sandwich. They have good chicken noodle soup and fried chicken! Always busy and there will be a wait for dinner.
