The Village Smitty is always a part of our Carbondale trip. The blueberry corn pancakes, the homemade jam and the breakfast cocktails are a must. Their bloody Mary's have the best presentation I have ever seen. If you are a breakfast person this is a must visit

My family travels to the area a couple of times a year and we always visit this restaurant. The homemade raspberry jam is terrific and the coffee is excellent. Dependable menu with lots of yummy options. Chili Rellenos pictured.

A friendly place right in the heart of downtown Carbondale, which is a quaint mountain town in between Aspen and Glenwood. Friendly service and absolutely delicious food. Don't miss out on their fresh-squeezed orange juice - the real deal!

We arrived into town on vacation at 11 am and we weren't sure if we wanted breakfast or lunch. So one of us had breakfast and one of us had lunch! Both were very delicious the service by Laura was superb. Will come back again next time we visit Colorado.

Their Philly Cheese Steal Omelet special was to die for!!! They were kind enough to make it the next time we were in for my husband although it was not the current special! Kudos!! But the best was their French Toast on the brioche bread w/ the locally made raspberry jam! The Best!!! It has become our Go-To place for... More

I've eaten here for 43 years! Our out of town guests request the Smithy, as locals call it. (Guess we've spoiled them). Never ever a bad meal. Owned by locals as well. The wait is worth it. Don't miss the chance of either breakfast or lunch here. Second generation owners, and they know the "drill".

If you want to have breakfast there on the weekend, come early and be prepared for a wait. Food is great, prices are very reasonable, and The Smithy is simply a local legend! NOT fancy, NOT posh, just reliably good food and friendly service.
