We have 4 people in our party and we walked in just about 10 minutes before it closed, thinking that they may turn us away but we were greeted warmly by the hostess. The service was great and our food arrived pipping hot and tasty. They made their raspberry jam in house and I practically ate half of the jar.... More

This has been one of my favorite places since the 1980's. It is worth a wait to eat here, servers are friendly and professional. I recommend the McHuevos

The breakfast here is great. The menu provides many choices. The coffee is hot and plentiful. It is a little crowded inside so I recommend eating under the covered area to the left as you enter.

We went here for breakfast and was not disappointed. We came during a popular time (9am) so it was pretty packed and the service was slow. It took quite a while for us to see our waitress and for our food to come out. But the waitstaff is friendly and the food is very good.

A variety from waffles to burritos gives the menu a "something for everyone" quality. (Could have offered oatmeal, however.) Beautiful area.

This place was great. Best breakfast of our whole trip. Totally hippy atmosphere. Very friendly staff. We ate outside and the breakfast was amazing. They have this home made raspberry jam on the table that I did't notice till I was almost finished. It was so good if I had known I would have just ordered a spoon and devoured... More

Eggs, pancakes, waffles and just about any kind of breakfast you could desire can be found at the Village Smithy, which used to be a real smithy next to the old firehouse in Carbondale. Whether you are a local, a tourist just passing through or a Roaring Fork Valley biker, you will find a great breakfast, good coffee and a... More

Stopped at the Village Smithy for a late morning brunch. The place was packed so we took our pager and meandered around Carbondale. Once we were seated, our server Rodrigo was friendly and upbeat and had great recommendations. My husband ordered the special and I thoroughly enjoyed my peach pancakes with real maple syrup. Lovely, relaxing time. Look forward to... More

Get there early. Locals love it so there is always a line. The food is great and plenty of it! Great staff. Inside, outside, and patio seating. Not pricey at all.

Stopped for a late breakfast on a bike trip. Food was very good and prices very fair. Had the chili rellano converted on green sauce.
