Really fun atmosphere for a weekend breakfast. Service was a little bit slow, but portions were huge and tasty! Some of my favorite hashbrowns (super crispy and crunchy, delicious) and the omelettes are almost big enough for two meals on their own. Veggies were fresh and tasty. A fun, casual breakfast!

Not so good, staff were nice, wait was long for food. Elk burger was overcooked. Husband's fish & chips also overcooked. Didn't send back as we waited so long to begin with. Will not return.

Easy access close to the highway. Typical diner fair with 50's style decor. Inexpensive, clean, with friendly staff. Beer selection limited considering what state we live in, but could get a decent brew in a can.

Diner food, good grub, Burgers shakes and blue plate specials for lunch or dinner. Diner atmosphere good place to take the kids and family. Booth seating and plenty of parking. Close to highway 82, ao you don'thave to go into downtown Carbondale.

The new owners have really cleaned up the place! Not that it was dirty before but there is now a new sparkle to it. Other then that it's still the same good and casual food. Surprised to see all the families and young kids on my last visit.

We needed a nearby location to our hotel that we could just walk to for dinner. This was one of the recommendations made by the staff at the hotel desk. It was a short walk, and really worthwhile. Meal was good, a substantial crowd and price was right. I would recommend it for a good, not so pricey dinner. Service... More

Stopped for lunch on Monday and it wasn't crowded. Waitress was great and got an order for 5 people correct. Burgers were good, fish and chips were crispy and the soup tasted as if it was homemade and not out of a can. We liked it so much we went back for breakfast. This time it was a different staff... Since there are not many reasonable p;riced restaurants in Carbondale, this is really good. Good food and great location.

It's true diner food but very well done, and you can't beat the ambience. Fish n chips and a banana split are my go to!

we just moved to Carbondale and were looking for a "go to" spot when we could find fair priced, no fuss, healthy comfort food. A diner in the food trendy Roaring Fork Valley had that potenial, but sadly this diner did not have that food. The service was friendly and prompt, but the food was standard diner food; American standards... More
