My family decided to stop for a quick lunch in Carbondale. The maps on my phone listed Fatbelly's as "fast food" so we gave it a try since we were in a hurry. We waited 5-10 minutes more than a typical fast food restaurant but the wait was so worth it. The burgers were juicy and just a touch pink... More

Food channel would call this a burger joint and that is what it is. I got the standard which comes with cheese. I have to admit that I don't much care where the meat comes from. I am only concerned with the taste and this was good. Good sized order of fries which were also very good. They have 4... More

For $6+ for a standard burger is was like a large slider in size. The flavor though was amazing, it's all natural nothing added beef and you can really taste the diference. The shakes are incredible, the fries .... ok

I love a great burger, but I have high standards for the meat. Here's a great combination of local, grass-fed and aged burgers in a quick low key fast food place. It's homey, since it's located in an old house on Main St. Delicious burgers that are not a bit dry which can be an issue with grass fed beef.... More

We went here after a long hiking trip to grab some milkshakes. The shakes were very good but they didn't have a very good selection. When they were serving the burgers and fries, they looked really delicious and if I went back I would definitely get the burgers and fries! The service was fairly poor though. They were not very... They said "yes." That's kind of our family's way of knowing that we're not at McDonald's. All burgers came out well done. Tough to choke down. The burgers are quite small. If you're paying anywhere from 6 to 9 bucks, I expected larger. Since they weren't cooked to order, they weren't worth anything close to that. Four burgers and one... More

Homemade burgers while you wait. Funky atmosphere. Outside sessting-good in Spring through Fall or inside in Winter. Home made ice cream shakes and malts.

This place is known for its hamburgers! Remember the days when you could get a good burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, on a good bun? This is it.

"FAT" is the operant words. Big burgers just dripping with it. fries and hot-dogs too. They make it your way. Some outdoor seating during warm months; Good luck finding a little spot inside the rest of th year. A real, old-time burger "dive. You leave feeling fuller than full, maybe a little queasy, and most likely very satisfied and happy.

Great burgers and fries. A small 'hole in the wall' place with nice employees and a great place to grab a double cheese burger, sit outside (or in) and just enjoy a slice of Americana. Not fancy, just tasty!
