Well I usually would recommend k bobs but this time it was just so so. We went for a great meal and waited hour and half just to get appetizer. Cheese sticks that are better at sonic!! Sorry , only one waiter and three bus...boys. Cook was overwhelmed. Maybe just the new Covid situation but kinda disappointed.More

Service was adequate, the waitress was pleasant and helpful and we tried to be understanding seeing as Covid has made things harder on customer service staffs but the quality of the food was absolutely awful. The menu says everything is made fresh but the $9...cheese sticks were clearly frozen with canned dipping sauce, the salad was half brown, and my chicken fried chicken tasted like they breaded a rubber one, I was honestly waiting for it to squeak. $55 and now we are sitting at Chilis waiting for our real dinner to go order. Save your money and go elsewhere.More

Took my family for a Sunday experience to Canyon City thinking K-Bob’s might be the place for a wonderful small town meal. Was my family wrong. I will get to the point. Vegetables were from a can, what kind of restaurant uses canned veggies. That...what anyone can get from home. They use frozen packaged chicken. How can you tell? Good question. It was tasteless and bland. The driest of meats. It must have been frozen for weeks. For a steak house I can say The steak was cooked well, but also bland. Because of the first observation with the chicken I am thinking it must have been packaged and frozen. So a big disappointment for a steak house. Can you believe not even fresh or aged meat. The clam chowder was bad. When I say bad it was rotten and sick worthy. If you have a death wish, that’s the ticket? Everyone could smell it from other tables. In my opinion for a person who will be living in that area soon, K—Bob’s will be the place I tell everyone to avoid.More

first, the vegetables are grade A frozen, we live in Colo. in the winter. The chicken is antibiotic free boneless, skinless breasts. Our steaks are hand cut u.s.d.a. choice never frozen beef. We use "real clams" in our chowder that we make all weekend. You must...More

My husband and I went to Kabobs today for the salad bar. The lettuce that was on the salad bar was brown with some lettuce parts bad. I told the waitress. Her answer was they just got it out of the refrigerator. I told it...was not good. She over and told the man that had seated us. They completely ignored us and just spread the lettuce around in the bow. If I knew how to complain to the owner I would.More

This is located off of U.S. 50 and was in walking distance of our hotel (Hampton Inn and Suites). The ambiance is Institutional with a blend of tacky and the patrons appeared to be mostly local senior citizens. However, our server was capable and sociable...and our three different meals were hearty and taste-worthy. The salad "wagon" was probably the most appealing aspect of this restaurant. K-Bobs is not fine dining, but certainly one could do worse.More

Food is mediocre at best, although service is good. Prices are high for the quality of food. Not great.

It was 7:45 tonite, the paper on the entrance indicated it closed at 9pm. We (party of 2) were said the kitchen was closing, that the cooks were overwhelmed, had no backup ... although the place had so few customers ... We were not welcome...and invited to leave the restaurant without a “sorry” nor even a glass of water !More

We are locals and eat at K-Bob’s about once a month or so with elderly relatives. This last time on August 16 we were delightfully surprised by how everything tasted so much better than in the past. My chicken fried steak was super tasty with...plenty of cream gravy. Plus the fried okra was amazing. My husband said his charbroil was cooked just right and the mushrooms and brown gravy was delicious. The kids had simple burgers and fries but they ate every single bite. Our server was an older lady who was very accommodating and kept our drinks filled. We will definitely come back!More

This food was teeeeeeerrible! I ordered the catfish and it was fried jello/mush. Disgusting. After I mentioned to some locals where I had gone everyone’s first reaction was “I could’ve warned you.”

i'm sure your waitstaff would have corrected this if you would have told them. we served 360 guests that day, which is a normal sat. don

We just visited K Bob's in Canyon City yesterday during our vacation, July 20th, while on vacation. The advertising outside made it look very appealing. We were very hungry and went in and ordered lunch specials (after about a 20 minute wait before a waitress...came to our table) with a salad bar add on. We explained to the waitress that this was our first visit as she took our order and she told us where to locate plates for the salad bar. As I was visiting the salad bar for the third time she kept staring at me. I finally asked her what I was doing wrong and she told me it was a limit of one visit per upcharge. I just don't understand why she didn't tell me when she took the order. I would have loaded up on the soup, salad and pudding in one trip instead of taking small servings separately. We enjoyed our food and would have preferred to pay an additional charge to be allowed to enjoy the salad bar with no limitations. Also, drink refills were not offered. I will try a K Bob's again if I see one on my travels. Hopefully I get to enjoy it.More
