No you don't have to be a veteran to eat here. Nice restaurant recognizes all branches of the service on the memorial outside and on the walls inside. Food was good, waitress was friendly and not far off the highway. Breakfast skillet and fried cinnamon french toast was worth the price.

Was not impressed. We arrived an hour before closing and ordered off of the menu. Food was less then average. It was noisy but only 4 tables were occupied. My burger was either cooked and rewarmed or just old.

I stopped in there a few months back because it was supposed to be a VFW. What a joke. It's nothing more than a money making scheme using the VFW name. If you look at the Cobra in front, they have nameplates on it. Those aren't the names of Vets. They are the names of people who could afford to... More

Good lunch. Easy on/off I70. Not being a member of the VFW, we weren't sure if we could eat there, but sign said public welcome.

We got the recommendation from the docent at the Old Town Museum. Food was good, jeans and t-shirts atmosphere. Lots of locals it seemed, some were a little loud and foul mouthed which was disappointing. Seemed like the gal could have used another pair of hands in the dinning room we got there about 12:30 and they were busy, but... More

If you're looking for delicious home cooked food, this is a great place. Best country fried steaks with biscuits and gravy. In never order this kind of food but at The Post it's delicious comfort food that's hard to resist.

Great start to our Junk Jaunt road trip. Breakfast with the locals! Homemade green chili rellenos, crispy and good. Plain omelet light and delicate. Southern style biscuits are the best! Fast , friendly services . Clean bathrooms. Honor your war vet with a photo real helicopter in the parking lot.

Went with a friend on spur of the moment for breakfast. Had pretty good choices on the menu. I can't remember the name of my entree but it was basically hash browns covered with cheese, chopped bacon, ham and sausage. It was very good. I would definetely eat here again.

This place was good. I got the burger, and sweet potato fries. If your looking for a good home-cooked meal, I'd recommend it. They have homemade pies as well!
