Best Prime Rib We Have Ever Had!

My husband and I ordered the prime rib on Saturday Togo because we have been wanting some good prime rib for a while. The restaurant owner/ head cook James went above and beyond to make sure that it was the perfect meal. The prime rib was very well cooked and seasoned to perfection! He even included all the dressings and sides we requested. He also went out of his way to make us soup for our meal as well. Amazing customer service and outstanding food! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal whether you live in Burlington or are just traveling through!

Super yummy food and wicked nice people!

Super yummy food and wicked nice people! We are on a cross country road trip and wanted a “real meal.” It’s only a few minutes outside the center of town, but not far at all. After dinner we chatted with some friendly locals who had just come off the golf course (the restaurant is near the Prairie Pines Golf Club) were celebrating a 21st birthday. Highly recommended!

WORTH THE SHORT DRIVE!

Bothe the food and the service were excellent. It is at a golf course about 2.5 miles Northeast from the Marriott Fairfield Inn at Burlington. It is definitely worth the drive if you want a delicious, quiet meal

Wonderful food!

The owners are super nice people. The Wife worked the front end and the husband prepared the meal. The steak was cooked to perfection with fresh seasonings and the rest of the meal was perfect. We had been on the road traveling all day on our 33rd wedding anniversary and they made our day. A lot of locals were there eating and they were all very friendly. Thank all of you very much for a great meal and wonderful hospitality!

Our son took us to Spices On the Green for our anniversary. It was lovely. The food was delicious. Portions were generous. They offered an extensive salad bar. They were very accommodating. I would like to see more vegan options.

Great Food!!

The restaurant is located in the golf course club house. The menu is varied. I had the grilled shrimp with salad bar. DH had soup and salad bar. Food was fresh, salad bar had everything you would want. You won't be disappointed. Worth the short drive from Burlington.

Not impressed. The salad bar was lacking in selection. The cucumbers were bitter, no cheese and the croutons were over done. If typical bar food is what you want, it’s here. The staff was friendly.

Thank you so much for your positive response for my Bar, I am happy to serve restaurant critiques like you because it took 15 years for someone to figure out this is a bar and we serve upper bar food. I am sure you didn't see any white table cloth or white linen service in my bar, that is because it is intentional. also you mentioned about bitter cucumbers yes that is farm grown local cucumbers, definitely texture and taste is different from the rest. I am sure in NY area all the bars have salad bar with all the condiments and cheese loaded for $ 8.99, in order to survive in a restaurant business for 15 years at this location we try our best to cut down on our waste much as we can, that is the reason I am able to provide all you can eat soup and salad for $10.00, salad bar for $ 9.00 , if someone needed cheese they will ask our friendly staff like you mentioned. Croutons didn't come from a bag either, we do grill our croutons with real butter, Romano and garlic on a flat grill yes it is little more brown than what most vendors factory perfect product. Hope you enjoyed our perfectly cooked upper choice steak or fresh fish since you didn't mentioned about the dinner choices or our below average pricing. Again thank you for recommending us as a good bar food place.

Worth a visit!

We were traveling and were in Burlington over night. We decided to try this restaurant and were so glad we did. The salad bar was fresh, the soup delicious, and entrees were flavorful. Service was also very good and attentive. We talked with the chef at the end of the meal and enjoyed meeting him. We will definitely be back as we travel this way again.

Unexpected Treasure

We were looking for a nice restaurant for Saturday evening dinner on a trip from Kansas City across Kansas and Eastern Colorado to ski. We were done with fast food for the day. And did this place ever deliver. It is a foodies delight. Three dishes were particularly spectacular. The cream of mushroom soup was light and flavorful and loaded with mushroom pieces that were not overcooked. It was in the salad bar and included with every meal. After eating his my husband remarked that he would be happy with just the soup for dinner - it was that good. But then his steak came, the ribeye, and it was not only prime grade beef, but perfectly medium rare as he ordered it and lightly spiced to enhance the flavor. The chef had butterflied my filet to grill it perfectly medium well, but still juicy and fork tender. The seasoning on it, too, was delicious. The green beans were fresh and lightly sauteed with onion and delicious seasoning, but lightly, so as not to overwhelm the green beans' flavor. The other items we ate were above average, well prepared and delicious, but the three above were in the top two or three of their category we've ever had - and we eat in fine dining restaurants several times a year. It was very close to the freeway, less than five minutes, and the three turns were well marked and straight forward. Be aware that the time changes just to the east. We arrived at 4:30 MST and decided to wait thirty minutes until they opened which turned out to be an excellent decision. It was simply amazing food.

Great steaks!

70s feel at the country club however the food was great. Salad was fresh, potatoes perfectly cooked and the STEAKS tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Owner was delightful and accommodating. A little pricey but don't let this stop you. There isn't a better dinner in town.

Great restaurant in Burlington
