Enough said. They literally had racist (anti black) literature sitting on the counter for the taking. I was appalled and would not spend a dime had I seen that before I paid. The cookies were stale to boot, and the coffee was terrible. The coffee roaster down the street was SO MUCH BETTER.

This was a great small town bakery. Amazing Almond Bear claw, light and fluffy with just the right amount of almond paste. Small selection, but what they have is great!

We decided to walk in the old downtown and explore a bit when we came across Loback's Bakery. The place has been around like 75 years, and they still do their own baking. We don't normally eat that sort of thing anymore, but made an exception and enjoyed some delicious and fresh delectables, and the prices were really cheap!

The baked goods were delicious, but the selection was very limited. Maybe you need to come in the morning, because we rolled into town in the afternoon. I am all about keeping a bakery on the map. They had more donuts than anything else, but a couple of assorted tasty oddities as well. And the prices were extremely reasonable.

Lobacks is a Buena Vista staple for us. Their bear claws are to die for...can't find anything like them anywhere else. My family also loves their long johns. And their circle dutch oven loaf bread is amazing! My family has taken to calling in "sin bread" because "it's so good, it must be a sin" LOL! Great for toast, sandwiches,... More

For those who love heavy baked goods, including donuts, this is the place to be on a Saturday morning. However, there are no healthful or lighter choices for those who are trying to be health-conscious, and the storefront and interior are very tired. This place did not speak to us at all.

WOW is this bakery wonderful! We went on a family vacation around Colorado and have tried a quite a few bakeries out and this place was BY FAR the BEST and the cheapest! We went both days we were in Buena Vista. Both days the donuts were VERY fresh (even in the afternoon) we bought a loaf of Dutch Oven... More

Bought a key lime pie. Tasted like a dirty sponge. Thick and pasty, fake cheap lime flavoring made in an Easy Bake Oven. Dont get your pie here.

This is the great old style bakery, that has been on the historic Main St. for years and years. Great donuts, and really good homemade tasting bread. And their potato rolls are top notch!

I took my daughter here for breakfast and the donuts were stale and hard. They were obviously at least a day old, if not more. The selection was very limited and what they did have available was just plain bad. We couldn't even eat what we bought, and had to throw it away. No wonder this place is 'for sale... More
