We were the first customers in the restaurant for dinner and decided to sit outside, which was nice. Our waiter was kind, friendly, and attentive. So far, so good. Then the food started coming. The calamari was average. Our entrees took a long time but...we were okay with that because we were enjoying our time together. I had the fettucini carbonara and my wife had the chicken marsala. Neither were great. Carrabbas was MUCH better! I'm one to promote and seek out local businesses so I hate to write this but needed to be honest. Hopefully, it was just an off night. Regardless, we won't be returning.More

Ist time experience at this restaurant. Last one too. A group of six ladies came to lunch today because we had heard good reviews. We all ordered something different. The lunch menus showed soup/salad. We were offered neither. 5 of the ladies had water only,...I ordered hot tea which they do not have. They 'could nuke some ice tea' for me which was ok with me.. We got our bread and dipping sauce which really didn't have any flavor and then we got our meals. The food is very good, but the service is something else. When it came time to pay, I mentioned we weren't offered any soup/salad. We were told we could have it 'to go', he forgot to ask us if we wanted any.... We had separate checks. Most of us had $20 bills. He couldn't break them. I told him if he wanted to get paid, he would have to be able to break them. He took the bills being paid with cards and then decided he'd better try and do something with the 20's. One of the ladies ordered a meal to go, was charged for it and then had to ask if she was going to get it. He forgot that too. The restaurant was clean, quiet, food was good, but service was like nothing I had experienced before. Needless to say, the tips were low and we won't be returning. No one wanted dessertMore

I've been to Scalzotto a couple of times for lunch. The first time, there weren't many people at the restaurant. The second time, it was quite busy! There was only one server both times. The restaurant isn't huge, so it seems like this would be...sufficient. The second visit could have used an additional server. The food was delicious both times. I ate the chicken fettuccine on my first visit & the gnocchi on my second visit. Both were excellent. The white sauce is very flavorful. My friend & I split the tiramisu & really enjoyed it.More

We visited on a Saturday night, without a reservation, on the recommendation of hotel staff. They found a table for us and served us some of the most incredible fresh pasta my wife and I have ever eaten. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, what...they lack in location and ambiance, they more than make up for with great food.More

The food was great, but the service was bad and they were extremely rude. They walk around to refill water, but are hesitant and slow to do it. They want you to leave as soon as possible. After we finished our meals, the waiter brought...the bill without asking if we were ready for it. We paid and the reciepts were still on the table, but we were not ready to leave yet and were still talking. Our waiter continued to stare at us at least 10 different times. A man that worked there was walking around stared even harder at us. He finally decided to say something. He asked us if we had ordered food yet, when it was obvious that we already had as our bill was on the table. After we said yes, he said "Oh, I was looking for a table...". He did everything he could do except ask us to leave. He then stared us down continuously, so bad that I put my hand up to block him from my vision. My friend and I did not even sit but more than 5 minutes past paying the bill. I have never been treated so badly at any restaurant ever. I was extremley disappointed in the service and treatment. I would not come here again nor recommend it. Maybe it would be worth it if you ordered take out.More

We just moved to the area and saw this cute little place on the way to the post office today. We didn't feel like cooking tonight and on a whim, ordered pick up from this little gem tonight. From the phone call to place our...order (Italian salad, ravioli with spinach and chicken scallopini) to pick up to enjoying dinner - each was exceptional. We're looking forward to our next meal at Scalzotto!More

The one meal I had there was the special of the day. A prawn & muscles pasta dish that was excellent. I arrived 15 mins before closing and was very well received. Service was excellent. Much appreciated.

I have not seen that they do, the only Rav's that I know they serve has no meat in it - Priscutto e mascarpone - it is awesome.
