We made a reservation here as we were a party of 6. We were given a table near the entertainer and were afraid it would be loud. It was perfect. The service was excellent, the food very fresh and well prepared; not one in our party was dissatisfied. The solo performer sang and played guitar beautifully. Very fresh modern, yet... More

Great food and service! Perhaps a little loud but if you want to enjoy the music it's a perfect night out.

The food was good, but the service was terribly slow. There was a big crowd there on a Wednesday night and it took 15 minutes for our server to bring a bottle of wine.

While visiting in Breckenridge, my wife and I had dinner at the Blue River Bistro. We both had the trout: OK but nothing to brag about. The restaurant is a little noisy, as stated in other reviews. I certainly would not call this a fine dining experience, as suggested by some who have reviewed this restaurant, unless cost is the... More

Wow, wow, WOW! Dined here this evening on the recommendation of friends & several local residents. The best meal & dining experience I've had in awhile. No shortcuts by the chef, nice ambiance, wonderful service. Substantial wine list & speciality drink menu. Fantastic Salad. I had roasted beet, goat cheese, pistachios on arugula w/ a lemon based dressing- yummy! My... More

At their suggestion, we met friends for lunch as they were arriving in town. Good wine selection & everyone seemed to enjoy their food except my wife & me. I just had a Caesar salad which was just so-so & wifey had a special turkey sandwich that wasn't what she expected at all. Neat place & we'll probably try again... More

Tiger Prawn Appetizer, Caesar salad, and trout. Superb. Service - attentive but not overbearing. Ambiance- cozy & comfortable. Do not miss!

Bread, soup, salad and entrees were excellent. Plenty of selections of and some unique choices too. Fun and interesting martini selection. A bit loud to hear at a large table but the energy and vibe added to the experience. Dessert selections were a bit disappointing so we passed. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, but not overwhelming. Good balance. Highly... More

Went to the Blue River Bistro last night while in Breck for a weekend with the girls. There was mixed reviews on the food. The salads were excellent, especially the arugula. It was very fresh and light. Everyone loved the pasta dishes, with the Carbonara getting raves. However the chicken Marsala was dry and salty. The service was initially very... More

This place is rather cozy and intimate. It can be hard to hear if other patrons are noisy. That being said, our meals were just great. I had the ruby trout...so good. My husband had the pork shank, so tender it fell off the bone. Generous portions too. Not really a place for young children. Service was quite perfect.
