we chose this place to experience some colorado style of cooking. the 3 big choices we seized upon were elk, buffalo spare ribs and mountain trout. the sides were all very good with an especially cheesy version of mac 'n cheese. wine by the glass made for good pairing with the variety of food. a very big plus was the... We ate here on the final night of our stay and it was a lovely experience. They seated our party of 13 at a very long table in the middle of the room and it was perfect. We had a variety of appetizers from Brussel sprouts to steak tartare and all were delicious! The wine list was extensive and well-suited... More

My review from 2013 is still true, so I just want to reiterate that Brier Rose is a fun restaurant and bar that many locals frequent often. We were just there for happy hour and had top quality hours-de-vours and drinks. They have top shelf booze and very good food. If you wish a full dinner, they have a more... More

Nice staff with quick accurate service. I believe we were seated outside and they had a wide drink and lunch memo.

In an exceptional tourist town, this restaurant continues to distinguish itself as highly exceptional. From the phone reservation, to a welcoming manager named David, this is one of a handful of restaurants you should not miss, if staying in Breckenridge. From white table cloths to an extensive menu and wine selection, the four of us had a very memorable dinner... More

Had dinner with my wife and daughter. The filet and ribeye steaks were cooked to perfection, moist and flavorful. Daughter had the salmon that was on special-pan seared for a good crust then baked. I would recommend the asparagus spears, but skip the mashed potatoes. The potatoes were good, but with the other side options (served family style) go with... More

I have dined at the Briar Rose several times. The food is always delicious, sides served family style with plenty to go around. (you've got to try the brussels sprouts!) Outstanding wait staff - everything is taken care of for you. A nice highlight is the back deck for happy hour during the perfect weather Breckenridge offers in the summertime!

Wow. Had been a couple years since in Breck and took family to Briar Rose for dinner. We're from Dallas and know good service and great steaks. Service was terrific. This place does not disappoint.

We went here for Father's Day and really enjoyed our dinners. We had the prime rib and the aged strip steak. Both were very good

We both ordered steak and it was cooked perfect! The mac and cheese was one of the best sides I have ever ordered! We were so pleased with dinner we should have stopped there. Instead we ordered dessert and mine (the cheese cake) was great but my husband ordered the vanilla ice cream with berries and was served whipped cream... More
