We travel and eat out a lot and it's great to stumble across places where the owners "push the envelope". There is nothing about ember that can be called conservative. The chef creates fusion foods using the best of available local produce and we had a very good meal of seasonal game, lobster bisque with a twist and delicious desserts.... More

We are just a bit picky when it comes to wine selection ( ok, I am very picky!) and this wine list will not disappoint. They have some very unusual options for food, but the happy hour selection was great!

Food was mostly excellent. Soup, salad, entrees were all prepared perfectly, plated beautifully, and tasted delicious. The dessert of Carrot Cake Donut Holes, while sounding delicious , didn't meet expectations. The carrot cake was fairly bland. Overall the dessert was a "meh". I'd definitely return and order everything we had, except for dessert.

We had a party of 9 and it was a very special occasion. The staff were so so on being very attentive or appreciative of our celebration. It was as if they were fed up with tourists. I am a foodie and have lived in some great cities with great food and presentation. I thought this was average to basic.... More

On Sunday evening 4 couples celebrating 10 years of travel and food had dinner at Ember in Breckenridge. No doubt the quail, shrimp and halibut entrees had potential except for fact the halibut was dry, shrimp and quail entrees Luke warm. The service was medium and overall what could have and should have been a great meal turned out disappointing.... More

First of all, you need to make reservations! We failed to do so and were seated in the bar. It was too cold to sit outside and the 2 person table we were at in the bar was almost so dark we couldn't read the menu or see our food. But that's our fault for not reserving ahead. The bartender... More

They certainly have a very innovative and unconventional menu with new combinations. If you are looking for the xxx infused yyy and reduced with zzz over a mixed on a leafy bbb served on a fondue of ccc chilled down with a half baked ddd, this is exaxtly your place to go. Honestly you will not find these combinations anywhere... More

We had 4 appetizer plates and would recommend most the Goat Bao Buns ( like Korean BBQ pork on bun) and the monkfish plate most - although the other two were also good. The pork was with a lemon grass coleslaw and the monkfish was served with a squash that was to die for and menu said there was watermelon... More

Food was innovative but at times didn't come together...I.e. Lobster lettuce wraps had too much going on that masked any taste of lobster. Wines by the glass list was pathetic. Wine list itself offered a good selection but all of the wines were far too young. Wish Colorado permitted corkage. Errr.

Service, atmosphere and food flavor all top notch. We have eaten at some fantastic bistro's and cafe's across Europe and Ember meets and exceeds on all levels. They have a fantastic wine list, the bar is truly unique, friendly and hip. The dining area has great ambiance with some very eclectic art and a good vibe. We have tried Briar... More

Description
A new restaurant in Breckenridge built on the reputation and talent of Chef/Owner Scott Boshaw. "Never rest on your laurels," are words Scott lives by and this is evident in his globally-influenced menu and the contemporary styling of this historical Victorian home. We invite you for apres-ski at the bar, a casual dinner with friends, or a romantic evening. Put a spark in your night. Let us warm your soul.
